Sasuke's recomendation (as can be guessed because I am too lazy to write all the content myself, when Sasuke has already done that).

My current favourite active WN. MC is (contrary to the title) not hesistating in killing his enemies and generally has a nice (interesting) character. While he is a bit soft to humans, it's just compared to deamon standard (which is "a bit" barbaric). The writing style is good and more important characters have considerable depth.

It is harming itself by the 登場人物の死亡あり (possibility of appearing chracter's death), for which reason most Japanese are gonna avoid it (though it doesen't have tragedy tag and thus you can guess how much of impact the death has). Most likely because of that it doesen't have point count that would suit it's quality and length.

This wasn't bad though I had a hard time reading it.

The set of "common knowledge" based in the devils way of life just felt way too awkward to me. Like even for absurd fantasy series there's enough to it that I can say "oh that might actually work as a society", but the way of life for the demons just went beyond what I could accept as plausible even for insane fantasy. Usually when series try to do that they play it off as culture gap comedy and it's hit or miss, but this one felt like it was trying to do it too seriously. Yari to kuro nekos insane multiverse of infinite wars stuff makes more sense.

Also didn't care for replacing hito with ma every chance available and making sure to correct it in monologue.

Putting aside those the rest was what I normally like to see in a series, but those things just took so much away from my enjoyment of it. Was certainly a different "feeling" than usual.

Yuusha-chan is a drug addict father-con(?) strippist nynpho with stalker tendencies. That alone guarantees reading.

^ Lol, though the strippist is the priestess (muscle builder, strippist, beautifull priestess) and the drug does not seem to be addictive (she is just permanently high when she is doing owertime).
Though yeah nympho, bisexual, stalker, drug user (addict?),yandere yuusha-chan is a really interesting character.

@Kaito: Eh? What have you found particularly strange about the deamon common knowledge? While it certainly isn't specialised in that, I don't remember meeting anything particularly not making sense.

As for the 人/磨 thing (and maybe the previous point too) I have gotten quite accustomed to it, still better than half the gobline series where they do it wth 人/ゴブ and with much greater frequency.

Yeah, this is a pretty fun read. Has a good balance of comedy and serious.
Characters also tend to be very quirky.

Yuusha-chan is fucking amazing. Plus bisexual characters seem rare for some reason, so it makes for a nice change.

^^ For three reasons, firstly I owerlooked it, secondly (a big reason for owerlooking) because the author oftentimes writes it without the 間 and thirdly because I now don't know whether to write it as あいだ　or ま.

^ I don't think it has any translation, so only google translator (if you can name the thing in google translator english).

Lol, chapter 115, and judging from all the hints that were given in this chapter, the identity of Pretty-chan seems to be almost confirmed. Lol, ok I wasn't expecting HER to be there. Well makes sense for HER to be the fallen angel's observer (also some things with her yunger sister make sense now).

I still follow this, it's just I haven't really had much to comment on so I didn't bother doing so.

I'm surprised they're fighting over Caela so much, but to think of it, she has probably some of the highest overall potential in the heaven forces (since she can possibly find ways to strengthen humans as a whole), and for the demon lord forces she has influence (morale? motivation?) with the protagonist and capturing her can prevent the whole humans getting stronger thing as well as not make the protagonist potentially depressed.

That said, Caela herself seems determined to see Meister again so she herself is probably leaning toward demons at the moment.
But she kinda pretty whimsical and could change her mind again at any moment.

I also find it amusing that devils are the only weirdos among the demon forces.
Like the second general being a masochistic-cruel demon lord-worshipper, aku-ero (lewd evil hah) wanting to destroy everything, the pretty devil-chans actually manipulating people like classic demons.

The other devils have their quirks but are relatively normal, though.

The old title was hilariously inaccurate anyway.

Besides, the heaven forces were barely winning again demons in the possibility where he was human.
Now that he's a demon and they're stomping the heaven forces, they need a shot to live, right?

That really depends how you look at it. Atacking is much harder than defending and while the heaven forces were fighting Kings in the original story, in this story Kings from deamon side are yet to fight them. On the other hand heavens are going much more all out than in the original world.

^ The death is rather minor character and it does not go into extra dark mood. As for annoying developement, it's still rather good, except stopped for a while, I hope it's not dead.

"Demons" are a wide spread of different races like beast men, devils, onis, vampires, undead. They vary in strength from lesser demon, mid demon, and high demon. A human hero, for example, has the strength to take on a strong mid-strength demon to weak high demon, but will get instantly killed against any decent high demon. With heroes themselves numbering less than 20 people. Of course angels are also typically way stronger than humans so they get kinda shafted in the strength department. Spoiler for FAQ: 1. OP: Yes (moderatly) Starts as moderatly weak (in childhood) but because of his previous life, linage of Maou and other circumstances his power grows fast. In latest chapters (100+) he is one of the strongest. Still can't match his mother and some others though. 2. Harem: Yes (big, but with differentiated importance/screentime of women) The protagonist (interestingly for JP MC) does not require pure love from woman. Most of his harem are girls presented to him as "gifts" from other deamon races, but they seem all to be more than content with this arrangement. 3. Snu snu: Yes (a lot) As mentioned earlier, he does have nothing against relationship (even sexual) based only on benefits (doesen't mean that many/most of the women do not love him), and deamons are mostly rather free in this.
