Everyone else was pretty much just true to their own flawed personalities, but Sekai was the one who drove this train off the cliff. It certainly would have been an injustice for her ending to be any different than it was.

In episode 12, when Sekai went to Makoto's house ( before stabbing him), Makoto told to himself " Did sekai get the wrong idead.... That look" . What did he mean by that?

Yeah theres a OvA but it's not quite as good imo. It's basically just ep1 :\, also the animation isn't great

School days really did a great job until it went to the point of ridiculousness- they tried to make it too much like the game. I would've expected a "to my children" ending from the game but I still felt more of an anime original one coming.

Makoto barely deserves any sympathy, sure he was seduced at first but man he took no responsibility whatsoever and became a sex crazed freak. I would say sex was all he cared about, while he was with Kotonoha "I thought having a girlfriend would be fun", and just as soon as someone lets him touch her he goes crazy .

Sekai was the one who caused this but she went too far here, but hey that's school days from the game as we know it - the bad endings have been ALOT more well known so the anime taking this road at the end was expected.

And Kotonoha, the one I sympathize with most, she had nothing to begin with and as soon as she gained a bf and a friend they both betray her and she is subject to bullying as well. But man...... who rips apart a pregnant women and the boat scene was just .

Well he was thinking to himself in the kitchen of why things turned out this way and that it was his fault for wanting these kind of things, but yeah just like his character he still took no responsibility whatsoever. And I totally agree with you when you said he turned to Katsura only because no other girls would approach him anymore.

Well we did get alot more time to know the characters here, and higurashi after the first chapter you can see killing coming so it's not as scary. But Kotonoha deserves a spot in higurashi no?

Second point would be his act towards Sekai who he knows full well that she cant live without him and plus made the promise to setsuna that he will look after her while she was in france. never trust men i'd say

Whether he had learned his lesson or not, he still wouldn't be able to say it clearly to, for example Sekai.

He's terrible in conversations.

actually, I think that "ONA" is just the animations ripped from the game, which is 6 episodes per storyline, but in total much more than 6 episodes since there are different lines.
