It was actually not that bad of an episode. The Kakashi semi-love story was nice, and Kakashi sure chose a pretty one to have a semi-relationship with. One of the better ones these days.

As long as Kishimoto isn't writing it. The anime always was better with romance. This is our second boy/girl kiss in Naruto. Remember Naruto made out with Fuuka in another Shippuden filler.

Spoiler for Fuka and Naruto:

What's the next episode about? Neji? Or Neji talking about Naruto with a flashback? That would be boring. It's funny how much the filler uses Team 8 and Team Gai, but not Team 10. Maybe their voice actors are more expensive?

The guys who are writting these fillers sure know what they are doing, because they are, at least, fun to watch... Old man and the Iwa Kunoichi (she was hot too) and this week invited Kunoichi were awesome.

I remember that filler arc because how Sakura pwned the other kunoichi, that was a big punch. The guy who animated that sure loves Sakura.

For me, the best part of the episode was the preview for next weeks episode.
"Neji Gaiden", huh? Sounds hot.

On a different note, why even bother bringing out Ibiki for interrogation methods within the leaf village instead of just immediately using someone from Inoichi's clan to get the job done faster, more efficiently, and in a more "humane" matter?

This sums up how I've felt about the last couple episodes.

The Lock ninjas had a cool outfit too. As stupid as the idea of having a "Land of Key" or "Lock" ninjas was in the first place, the idea of maintaining their strength through controlling information between villages instead of using violence was pretty good. Hanare weaving signs with her eye was pretty slick too.

Anyone else think that chick was dimwitted for coming back to Leaf Village?

If anyone besides Kakashi had recognized her.........

I laughed at the "There should be federal laws against showing such crap" option. And while I agree, even if there were, they wouldn't apply to subbed anime....

Anyway, shitty filler plots, blar dee blar blar. This wasn't as bad as most, though. I gave it a 6, Average. I've seen worse.

semi Kakashi-related story?

I approve. This was pretty good for a short story episode.

I see a 6 in the 000-010 range, so...who amongst those who voted is gonna start a petition for federal laws against filler? This episode was good-ish, yet another random small-fry village wanting to infiltrate Konoha, but at least the character was well-made, and came closer to Kakashi's mask than anyone else before

Someone pointed out that the girl at the beginning of the episode wasn't her, she just resembled her.
