To Aru Majutsu no Index - Anime General Discussion [NO SPOILERS]

Mmm... 3-4 episodes for volume 2, I guess... Short... Is this a OP2 flag?!

Spoiler for ep7:

Gwaahhh! As expected! As I feared! The tempo really is horrid. Just how much time did this episode spend on the actual plot, anyways... The total amount of important material could be arranged to cover 6 minutes only or so.
Not only that, but the first few volumes really are, completely, a Explanation Anime...

Bad tempo+Hard to understand plot=Toaru Majutsu no Index, vol.2
+Other

Noto... Fit better than I feared, but Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu was enough to make me tired of that voice...
Either way, CONGRADULATIONS, HIMEGAMI! First appearance out of novel! And your appearance this episode was, yep, as expected of air, rather dull and unimpressionable.

Aureolus... Finally him... ( -_-)
Now then, the episode leaves us at Misawajuku and the dead knight... Touma and Stiyls plans to head in and retrieve Himegami while finding Aureolus! He has the power of Chaos;Head! Here we go~

EDIT: More importantly, Tsuchimikado was there! In the restaurant! He shouldn't be there! Plot-wise/Logic-wise, this might cause odd problems later... JC Staff... If you plan to do it to the novel, don't add in unneeded stuff... Especially since his voice is unfitting...~nya

For a fandub, this is very good and at first i thought it was Yuri Lowenthal that was dubbing it. Now i wish they did Misaka voice too.

Wow, FET has improved immeasurable since I last heard his work. Admittedly that was a Digimon Tamers fandub.

Spoiler:

A rather slow moving episode even for me this time round and I am wondering where the story is heading. Surely it is still there but it is no longer focused on index...or at least for the time being.

Still some nice moments in this episode but the introduction to Himegami did struck off as being...random and boring.

The thing with Touma and no memories, I wonder if they will put more emphasis on that being a problem.
Also...he can see the corpse of a dead knight O.o

Well Touma didn't recognize Stiyl for one thing and also his classmattes.

I'm just waiting for Mikoto to appear for the whole who is this crazy chick?

Remember Touma forgot his past. If there is anybody that will make him think of what kind of person he was it would be Mikoto.

It was such a fun nickname (even though i'm not gonna say that to her face).

It feels funny having a protagonist that's completely lost his memories, it's like switching protagonists half way. And what's even more incredible is this amnesiac protagonist is now attempting to go about his life as though nothing's happened, since he decided not to tell anyone else about it.

How long is that facade going to last? Especially to Index? Sooner or later everyone will be wondering why Touma's forgetting all sorts of important stuff which he should have known.

LOL at pregnant Index, look what you've done Touma.

And also LOL at Touma suggesting whether Stiyl likes Index. (I'm still shocked at discovering Stiyl's official age is "14". But if Komoe can be an adult, I guess nothing's impossible anymore. )

Noto as Himegami: Noto kawaii yo, Noto! That's all I'll say everytime I see a Noto character. I don't know about you guys, but I never tire of saying that.

Oh and did I mention Index was really moe in this episode? Though her actions contributed nothing to the plot, but that's hardly her fault.

I was wondering if Index's nun outfit has lost its magical power..since Touma's touch no longer has the effect to strip/destroy Index's dress.

Or Touma can control his ability anytime he want?But i'm sure if he could he wouldn't need to suffer the unluckiness that haunted his life since before Index arrived.
