yeah, its harem, plus fantasy RPG, plus nation building all in one.
the nation building thing is the most interesting bit, i mean the only other series i can remember that did a really job with the fantasy nation building was Utawaremono.

I don't know if it's great that SHAFT is producing this.....or if it's plain perfect that SHAFT is producing this.
Daisuke Ono seems perfect for Krau. Though considering the kindness in the character he is....it will also be kind of funny.

I finally get to see a non camrip version, thanks for the link. Looks like it it's being faithful to the manga for the most part going by that trailer, though I wonder how SHAFT will end it.
Oh btw this is confirmed for the Spring season isn't it? |

Man somehow I just know this is going to turn into one giant cluster fuck like Negima!?
I've read the manga up to chp 13 (latest I think) and there is A LOT more to it then the harem theme. In fact that aspect doesn't even get brought up after the first few chapters. The whole world (the nations and their back story) setting has potential to be quite epic and I can feel the author intending to make the most of it. After Negima!? I simply don't trust SHAFT when it come to adopting epic stories. |

Blaaaaaaaah that style of opening eh?
By the way isn't Akiyuki Shinbo the guy that pretty much always has breakneck paced spaz out comedy? I don't know if I'm ready for another one of those. I will check out the manga however, but I'm going to need some thinking about what to make of the anime and whether I'm up to it. |

Nice and promising trailer, and I find the song pretty good. I haven't really been up to date on the manga except till chapter 7, though, so even though the story might seem promising, there's always a chance that it could fall flat after the first several episodes, and some people will just stop watching without giving it a chance.
