yeah, and did you say that was a mouse drawing, or were you talking about coloring with a mouse. Either way, the drawing's good and the coloring's a good start, though you didnt shade much :/ You're right though, I never really understood how Naruto's hair worked out, it seems to come from everywhere at once and it's kinda hard to shade. I'd like to see someone do it so I can model off of it

I actually kind of used your tutorial, but I didn't have any lineart to begin with...so I googled lineart, and I found the Made Man pic from the fallout series ^^
He's backlit (he's actually just finished interrogating you with the light, like you see in the movies...now he's in front of the light, going to kill you ^_^ )
Also added a fancy coloury background...(I wanted to make the room with a desk and a light on it, but I didn't feel like it

)

I am drawing something to do this with tonite.....I figure I have done so much coloring of other peoples line art lately that I am itching for my pen ^^ so give me a few days Niti..then Ill show you what you taught me

Nitit my dear ....how on earth can I apply a background while multiplying the layers? Even if I only apply one multiply layer ..every single layer shows through. Do you know the cures to my woes? Because I really like the dimension that your style gives to a peice! and you are not online now. So I cant just bug you there ^^

I could help you but ,, I don't understand the question,,, Let me tell you how I do the background,, I paint a color and then do multiply on the layer mode after that I just erase. the part I don't want to have the backgound color,, like the character for example ,!

How is it going for you guy's bye the way,, is the tutorial working ?

Well first of,, it's nothing wrong with your colouring you have really learned my tutorial,, except the part when I use linear dodge , to make the picture look shiny

the thing that I don't like is the Image itself,, you really chose a bad picture,, I don't mean sasuke or the pose,, but I mean the quality,, you see how the lines look bad,,, and that can make the colouring and the Image look bad,, but you managed to cover that really good but still

and when you have a hard time to find a nice skin colour then ,, Open a already colour Image that you like and use the point sample,, then you will get the exact colour that you like,, I do that way,,,, but still I like it,, it is good

The face , splended work, I really like it,, but I think you should, work more on the bloths and hair,, Narutos, hair shadow should have another color,, more orange,, When coloring I allaways open a allready colord Image,,whenever I have a hard time,, finding the right color,, I use the point sample and ,, try that,,, just a tip.

But please do more,, and post them here I want to see every singel one of them ^^

everytime i tried to do the orange parts of his jump-suit it just went wrong ;<

and yeah, i didnt try too hard on the hair either hehe, mainly the face.. thx for the crits, ill continue working on it 2moro [;
