Hmm, doesn't seem like much of the interface has changed and 3.0 still seems to use the same amount of system resources as 2.0. Too bad some of plug-ins, add-ons and extensions aren't working with 3.0. I hope they update them soon to work with 3.0.

^Any version of version 3 is great in using system resources. I tried to keep open 200 tabs, left them open for a day, and the memory usage was not that high, maybe 300Mb or maybe less. I didn't automatically close the application to see the actual memory usage.
I didn't have enough time to check the official release of version 3, but if they hadn't corrected the application/download part (lack of proper modification), it will still have at least one annoying problem for me. |

I also believe the addition of tags to bookmarks drops all the interest I might have had in del.icio.us and the like.

I.E. 7 ftw!!! Lol
I heard FF 3.0 has a cooler theme to start with. Just heard about the news from a friend not too long ago. Maybe I'll be able to use this version without having an error coming up and closing on me like previous versions. "The browser components could not be properly installed... Blah blah..."

I hate the standard look. But settings icons to be small* it looks great.
Still starts god awfully slow, not to mention all the errors when closing that I've got with it. They wouldn't really be errors, but firefox seems to want to report something. Very annoying. * left click navigation bad, select Options then tick "Use Small Icons"

I'm not seeing much new besides the zoom (ctrl +) The whole page gets bigger now (images and such). It also keeps its place better than before. On older versions it simply made the text bigger.
Also some IE-only websites work better, dunno if that's good or not. -k curious |

Try:
-Fastest Javascript processing in the browser market (open Gmail in 2.0 and then in 3.0 and you'll notice the difference). This is probably the biggest selling point in my case. -The "AwesomeBar" which is a stupid name for a very cool new feature the URL bar has (it remembers page titles, not only URLs). -Less memory consumption (the "leaks" everyone complained about, which weren't leaks but actually memory fragmentation) -Brand new GTK theme for the Linux client. Of course, you can always check the full release notes.
