Dad: Akio from Clannad - ditto  Sisters: Kyou (lots of fun, very dedicated) from Clannad, Yakumo (caring and dedicated sister) from School Rumble and Yachiru (cute as a button) from bleach as a little sister. Also Ui from K-on would also make an awesome little sister. Brothers: Ryuuji from Toradora (who wouldn't want a brother who could sew, cook, clean etc etc lol) and possibly Harima from School Rumble, coz he is hilarious and just a champ  Ichigo is also a prety good brother, well when he is around lol.Significant other: Usui from Maid Sama and Takami from Ouran? Yeah i love blonde bishies

My choices:
Mother: Madoka's mom from Madoka Magica (Junko??). Most anime moms are either stuck in the 1920s (American 1920s-for all I know, modern Japanese women really do belong in the kitchen still), or are grossly exaggerated caricatures, but Madoka's mother really struck a nerve in how real she seemed, with her talk over her glass of liquor being one of the greatest Mother/Child talks in anime history. I'd loved to have had her as a mother. Father: As I think Madoka's mom was supposed to be a subversion of gender roles in anime (or possibly even Japan), I think I can get away with calling her the coolest anime father as well. Sister: Nana, from...Nana. The singer, not the socialite.  I have no idea if she is a 'sister', but she was basically the other Nana's sister, so I think she counts. Nana carried the manga/anime, as far as I'm concerned, even if it seemed to really be more about Hachiko, and she's one of the very few 'sister' characters I've ever seen in an anime that wasn't:a) A cute backdrop b) A source for sexual tension for the male brother who turns out to not be blood-related, so his fantasies are apparently ok Brother: Gene, from Outlaw Star. I was never really sure if he and that little squirt who's name I've forgotten are actual brothers, but I think he still counts as a brother character. A good brother needs to be someone you can go hit the town with, while also retaining enough moral fiber to not be a complete sleaze bag that you love only because he's a relative.
