So I'm assuming this is an "alternate universe" version of Booker and Elizabeth that's situated in Rapture then?

It's awesome we're getting "true sequel" of sorts to the original BioShock though, since BioShock 2 wasn't developed by Irrational.

The DLC is more of a prequel, if I am reading the summaries correctly.

Judging by the date on the calendar in the beginning of the trailer, 31 December 1958, yeah it's a prequel.

Spoiler for Bioshock Infinite ending spoilers and DLC speculation:

-It looks like this Elizabeth mostly likely used her power to open a tear to Rapture and sought out the Booker of this dimension, who lives because his path did not lead to the baptism point. Which begs the question, how does this Elizabeth exist if all Comstock timelines were supposed to have been invalidated by drowning Booker at the baptism?

-Near the end of the Burial at Sea trailer, in the poster, the guy who we assume is Booker holding a smoking pistol, has AD on the right hand.

-An interesting point someone on reddit mentioned that I failed to notice in my own playthrough of Infinite. The Elizabeths that drowned Booker at the end of Infinite did not wear brooches. The Elizabeth in the DLC trailer is wearing the bird brooch.

Looks like at least one Booker became a space time anomaly. And it seems THIS, playable, Elizabeth is a native of Rapture. Her Booker probably died at some stage.
