I don't know exactly how that feels but getting hit on the road like that....definitely not something pleasant. Still, I kinda like this Vorona girl for some reason. Hope to see more of her roles this season.

Next episode is called "Moscow Does Not Believe in Tears". For the curious ones: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moscow...lieve_in_Tears

Yeah, I'm going to think those two are about to find out what happens when you seriously piss off Celty. The whole wire incident that's annoying as is. A shocking knockdown, probably not very comfortable, and angering enough that she didn't bother going to get her helmet. But now those two (I'm guessing) have the nerve to go after Anri.
There will be much chaos (as long as they actually get to it next episode and we're not thrown back in time covering other events). I don't mind how the show has everything interacting, but sometimes want to just see what happens next after a certain event. Kind of a tricky situation here. Dollars either being set up or some members actually causing havoc leading to a question of how free and loose you can really allow the Dollars to be. That kid is really at the center of all kinds of trouble. Shinra might also want to not test the limits of Shizuo's patience by aggravating him.

Picks a fight with Celty, picks a fight with Saika... These two are going to pick a fight with Shizuo aren't they? Their target is the little girl that tried to kill him. Don't pick a fight with the guy in a bartender suit should be part of Ikkeburo brochures. |

-If Akane had not been in that room at moment Shinra might have been thrown out of his own apartment window by now. -Man, though Varona's VA took a bit of getting used to. While it's not bad or anything, it isn't what I imagined when reading the LN. It feels a little too soft for kind of person she is and her Japanese doesn't sound quite as awkward (it's supposed to be more technical word wise IIRC), but someone who knows the language would be better able to discern that. Her being a walking wikipedia came across quite nicely. You tell she and Slon probably have a lot of these type of conversations. -I think it's fairly obvious Varona's next target is Anri (that was a especially great directed scene at the end there by the way). That said, though we understand now why Cetly was attacked since she basically Akane unofficial bodyguard (and partly because Varona wanted to ), who would put out a hit on Anri is the question. -Aoba was pretty crafty there, he's caught on very quickly that Mikado likes Anri a lot which makes her very useful pawn in his plans. Mikado seems to have noticed that Aoba is surprisingly happy about him changing his mind despite essentially flirting with Anri just mere minutes ago though. Izaya does have a good point about the Dollars, assuming of course how much of his "hand" wasn't in that incident. -Next weeks looks we are getting are getting Varona's backstory! I was afraid Shuka wouldn't have time for it, thankfully it'd not the case. Oh and one more other thing: Did not expect to see that. Last edited by Iron Maw; 2015-02-14 at 18:37. |

It wasn't what I imagined at first but I got used to Varona's voice. She really should have been told that person she was messing with was the Headless rider and it's obvious she is going after Anri.
Shinra is lucky he and Shizuo are friends or else he would get much worse than a forehead flick

As for the episode itself, I liked the pace. Though the episode felt really short to me that I got upset when it ended in Vorona's ambush. Even though their 'job' is to torment Akane, they sure are getting involved in other things. I wonder who gave them the other job... Aham. |

They aren't really ones picking a fight Awakusu-kai though, that's Yodogiri (who is proving himself to be surprising resourceful for a mere talent agency CEO...). They're just hitmen for hire and in this line of work facing-off against rival criminal organizations is pretty normal.

Wow, that was scary. I feel sorry for her.
..... By that I mean the intruder of course. It's a little hard to worry about Anri when she's one of the most powerful characters in DRRR.
