Like her acting more super-cool than James Bond-Bruce Lee using an umbrella against a evil robot (dig that hi-rise "Lemon" fortress base!) or how an air-conditioned room would aid her plans. When you wanna feel pity for her stupidity she kills it by unforgivably taking glee scaring Nagisa (maybe the most normal one on the show) out of her wits, so you just gotta root for Chizuru (a.k.a. H.N.) slamming her in that Hero squid and getting tush-bounced down the beach a few laps. LOL – I loved how fretful and anxious Ika was looking around the room while trying to spot Chizuru on the Hero Mask T.V. show after getting her head beaten in! |

While ago when homework researching the NY Times in microfiche, I came across a early-1970's article about a 5 or 6 year-old American girl who was a "co-host" on a pop Tokyo variety show and she was a hit among the Japanese who were (paraphrasing Times) "awed and captivated by a tiny blue-eyed blond pixie who could rattle off fluent Japanese better than most guests on the show." Someday I'd like to dig back more about her though surely some ancients online in Japan would've heard of her and her show, and I often wonder whether her likes helped propel the plague of blue/green-eyed blonds who infest anime! |

On "The Umbrella" episode, I give up on finding out what Ika meant by "A.I. Driver Optical!" I wonder if this was a subbing fluke. Still, one of my top three favorite eps of how such a simple device could grow into an ultimate weapon in Ika's squid mind! BTW, I caught a "Giant Squid" program on Discovery Channel which showed that a giant squid's "brain" not only weighs just an OUNCE - but the gullet passes right through it like a donuthole, so if it swallows something it doesn't chew down small enough it could suffer brain damage! Reality is stranger than fiction!! |

Hmmm. If Ika's vomit is that indescribably delicious, her flesh must be...like sweet tender veal? Maybe they ought start breeding her like goats and be billionaries!
P.S. seems some on Wikianme site believe an OVA's on the way. Last edited by B2-Lancer; 2011-01-14 at 13:04. |

Hasn't this series sold well?

Assuming he's info is correct, it's sold pretty well. Considering that even Mitsudome got a 2nd season despite low sales, wouldn't be surprise if well get a 2nd season. |

So after I read the TV Tropes entry for this series I decided to start watching it.
I'm only on the 3rd episode so far, but it's shaping up to be a very funny comedy with the most adorable invader ever as a protagonist. |
