Here's a clearer video of the Seitenkan Hare Hare Yukai dance. This guy definitely got there much earlier than I had, seeing as he had a perfect view of the stage.

Kyon: Close cousins.

Haruhi: Why ar-

Kyon: We all decided to make this a club event over the phone.

Itsuki: It just happened to be a very unlikely coincidence, that all of our ~close cousins~ came to visit, it must be a temporary program their school’s having or something, don’t worry.

Haruhi (whispering to Haruhiko): Hey…Are you possibly a distant cousin and forgot to tell me this?

Haruhiko (whispering back): No! We already talked about this. But, what if those are…

Haruhi (still whispering): You mean…

Haruhiko (You know, everyone hears you two whispering, idiots.): Yeah, their counterparts…

The two stopped whispering as the rest acted like they didn’t hear them.

Haruhi: Hm, okay, let’s just go already.

And they walk up the dreaded hillside path.

Kyon (whispering to Itsuki): Could they be aware of their powers now?

Itsuki (whispering back): I still don’t believe so; I’d be getting a signal whenever that happens.

Yuki (talking in her usual low voice, no need to whisper): The other Nagato and I have made it so that this project really exists in Japanese schools, therefore, some students of our school have moved as well, but not many are moving in. Our counterparts will be able to enroll quickly and be seated in a classroom.

Yuuki: We each will be seated in the same class as our counterpart.

Kyonko (whispering to Itsuko): Is there some kind of plan of action…or do we wait until it blows over?

Itsuko (whispering back): Action? Why? I’m into this new life, sleeping with my stud self.

Kyonko: What are you saying?!

Everyone turned at Kyonko as they walked.

Kyonko: What’s with the looks… What was I saying?!

Everyone turned back in fear and disinterest.

Itsuko (whispering): We should not interfere with the Suzumiyas’ thoughts; we may trigger something even more out of proportions than this.

Itsuki (who was eavesdropping): She’s right you know.

Kyonko: Were we talking to you?

Itsuko: Don’t say such rude things to me.

Kyonko: Argh…

In class 1-5, the “cousins” sat to the right of their counterparts in the back right corner of the room from Okabe’s desk.

Okabe: Well, what a coincidence, two of you had cousins coming over for this event. I hope I don’t get as much trouble from you new pupils as I do with you cousins who’ve been here.

Haruhiko, Kyonko: Yes, sir.

The school day went on normally, people got to know the temporary transfer students, especially the twin-like cousins.

Tsuruya: Haha~ little you is megas cute, Kyon!

Kyon: She’s not me, she’s just a cousin.

Tsuruya continued to pat Kyonko’s head.

Tsuruya: Name? I bet it’s similar…

Kyonko: …sigh…K-Kyonko…

Tsuruya: Haha~ matching names – so cuute!

Similar occurrences went on like that for a short while…actually a week passed by, and each day was pretty much the same. But everyone and their counterparts got used to living this way.
