Btw, how many adventurers you can get in this game (Arma including)?
The Lapis Ruins only unlock after you have everyone's card (not neccesarily true card though). Once you get through all 100 floors, you get Arma. Who is fun (her weapons are "arm parts", each of which gives her a different attack). The only problem is that she starts at level 1 and you need to go find arm parts to try different attacks. After the Lapis Ruins, you unlock Crystal Nightmare, which is the last dungeon.

There's also a character called Arma (i.e. Rei/Minami/clone) I've not seen anyone mention, so I'm not sure if she becomes available as a dungeon escort later.
You have to grind till the last level of the dungeon and defeat her, and collect ALL character cards (not their true cards, just their business cards only).

She is basically another Aigis from Persona 3. And a little wee overpowered IMO.

Hmm, I've been doing VERY well on my second run, but I've been deadlocked on the adventuring side of things. Just how do you unlock the Obsidian Tower anyway? I was under the impression it was the last dungeon you could realistically access through a first run, but so far zilch.

Gotta love Arma's deadpan reactions to purchases.

She's only good if you level her and give her good items. Rocket boots (level 4 boot synthesis) make her walk speed around the same as Nagi's dash. And I've heard Omega Cannon (level 5 parts synthesis, HOMINGU LAZAHHH) is ridiculous.

I have managed to find out the game parameters to hack the money. I am currently trying to find the naming system so I could rename her Nagato Yuki.

Yeah, the item is real. Gurren Lagann AND other manly series references. Heck, the game is rife with all sorts of pop culture stuff -- signs at just how well-translated it is.

Oh for the love of... I've yet to actually make it past the 80K pix payment, I was actually ahead of both the 10K and 30K payments but when I start on 80K suddenly everyone wants to sell me food, when the price of food is up, and I can't sell any of it right back. Thanks for the curveball... guess I have to restart from the last save...

As far as I know you can just transfer the game to a separate folder, then uninstall Impulse. Don't take my word for it though, as I used Steam for my purchase/installation.

And holy market events Batman!

Spoiler for Event:

It was such a rare alignment of factors: double prices on sweets, tons of ready vending machines, and wave after wave of housewives after sweets that I was all-too happy to provide... at 225% base price.

Spoiler for Capitalism!:

Also LOL at being able to cause the market on a particular item to crash if you sell too much of it on one day.

The translator is pretty clearly "one of us" in terms of the cultural references (or at least did the research of the original material quite well).
Very good translation over all, with only a few quirks that add to the charm.

Ok strike my previous post but now I'm stuck on 200K because I couldn't make any extra on the 80K and people keep selling expensive treasures at me, I've tried twice now and can only make 150K by the last day for that payment. I have no idea how to fix this besides going way back on a different save and do-overing 80K, this is driving me nuts.

Based on this, its just gone up my buy list a few notches. Its about $20 dollar equiv in the UK, but itd be nice to play a game with some decent pop references again. A lot of this sort of stuff seems to have left the humour of games at recent.

I found out a a bug ingame that can help alot in time management :

If you choose to go to the dungeon in the evening, you can open your store TWICE in a day AND go to the dungeon too. Going to the dungeon in the morning or afternoon will take up two periods, so you end up opening the store only once per day.

And to play this bug, RIGHT AFTER YOU EXIT FROM THE STORE, GO STRAIGHT TO THE DUNGEON. Going into somewhere else (like market or Guild) will dull out the dungeon option when you get out of the other place, making it unselectable.

In that way, your dungeoneering consumes only 1.5 time periods : and I recommend things in this order -

1. First portion of the day - go out and buy stuff / open store
2. Second portion of the day - OPEN STORE ONLY.
3. Third portion of the day - SAVE FIRST (if you want to), then Dungeon / 2 open store shifts

Saving before going to the dungeon is actually good for Nagi hunting - if she isn't found by the fourth level of the dungeon segment, you can always reload.

It is actually a doujin game sold on one of the Comikets. So yeah, only two kinds of people would be in the distribution business - otakus and biz-minded profiteers.

Now that I am on the fifth level of items... the old adage holds true. The rich get richer. With a few million in the pot now, I can afford to just wait for items to turn blue before mass buying them, place red items in the windows to fleece people, and fill in the blanks with generic white items.

Hehe.

It isn't a bug, its a feature

Yeah, if you time it well... of course you are going home at night and so far I've only gotten an occasional "not safe for young ladies at night" remark if I stop on the way back to the shop.

Hehe.
You sound like you are doing it IRL for a living.

Anyway, how much do you usually price the red items at the windows? For white items they can be bidded up to 120% of the original price, I am not sure about the red - seems to be somewhere around + 30-40%.

Actually, after you leave the dungeon if you followed my timeslot, you'll be automatically delivered back to the shop. I never got a "young ladies not safe at night" before.

I wish there is a night shop option - selling alcohol. There should also be a weather system where people will seek shelter from the rain in your shop and end up buying something.

Alternatively, there should be a loli-at-night option wanting to seek shelter until daytime. Solely for lolis and adventurers only, of course.

I've sold red items anywhere from 210% (for prime) to 270% (I was trying to stop them from buying it, but oh well...). Price Gouging, Ho!

I seem to get near pins between 210% and 230% though.

For white items, you can get 135% or 140% if you want to haggle, but I always just go for 100-110% to get more near pins/just combos.

It all depends on which customer you're talking about though...
