He's not saying they're like the OreImo and Index characters- he's saying that they're like them in the sense that they are all generic to him.

Which most of us already disagreed strongly and have expressed our opinions quite clearly about that.

In the first place 'generic' is a very vague word.

I use this site (warning: NSFW!) most of the time. It is search-based and uses tags that describe each picture. For example, to find a lot of the official scans posted here, you can enter 'boku_wa_tomodachi_ga_sukunai' and 'official_art', separated from each other by a space. Or just copy and paste this:

Well, if there's anything that works in Sena's favor, she absolutely adores Kobato... albeit not really in a healthy way. Whereas Yozora really doesn't seem to give a shit about anyone else, except Kodaka maybe.

And from the LN summaries I read, it looks like flag for Sena route is raised more than other characters.

And I admit it, thanks to Yozora who make Sena looks cuter and better. Sena is also a narcissistic, self-centered, and has same badmouth like Yozora (often to a man only though), but it was overshadowed plus her weak, clumsy side is shown more often thanks to Yozora's high level S. And also for gave her the great nickname

Sometime, I hate it when the girl I like on a series is not the main heroine so she doesn't get much screen time
But well, I guess that what doujins are for, or a VN game if that series popular enough XD

1st Sena
2nd Yozora

As Chaos already mentioned, 4th. But then, the only thing you need to take out is that Meat is 900x more popular than Yozora...

The novel leans toward Yozora route anyway...although Meat do gets a lot more flags...

As far as "generic" - there is a fair amount of parody in the novel, so it is intentional in some way...

There is a coloured doujin with a threesome 'of sort' between Kodaka/Sena/Yozora that I thought was pretty good (in a matter of speaking), just look for the one with the most awkward and longest title...
