While I am still waiting for summon night 3,4 and 5 to be localized on their PSP versions...HELL YES! I love this series, here's hoping it gets an online arena to battle other blacksmiths (although it seems the MC is a scavenger?).

You must have played the Swordcraft Story games on the GBA. Those are action RPG spin-offs. The mainline Summon Night series is all tactical RPGs like FF Tactics.

Indeed, the first two were released awfully late for the Playstation and I never found the PS2 titles in the market. Getting a few for the PSP would be nice.

Media Vision are taking the lead development role on this game.

Media Vision?
No wonder. Felli Stella wouldn't have the resoruce to develop a PS4 game all by itself.
It is making a lot more sense that they are having outside help.

In fairness, Felistella are also busy working on the Neptunia/SeHa Girls crossover game.

Hearing the words" Media Vision" always just reminds that Wild ARMs series is dead.

At least their still around. I wonder if the guys who helped on Wild ARMs:XF will be working on this?

I thought Felistella was made up of most of the old Flight Plan member though? They were fairly big from what I remember.

But they don't have funds, and it is only half of the original Flight Plan.

Wait, Miyakozuki is not doing the full script again?
I guess this can't be helped when he has a novel to write. But... yeah, SN5's writing was a step down compare to the first 4 due to Miyakozuki wasn't doing the whole thing. I am worried about SN6 too now.

Well don't lose hope just yet!

Even if the series writer isn't the on doing this doesn't necessarily mean the ones who worked on SN5 are. And if it does turn out to be the case there is a chance that they might have improved or that the story themes that are being tackled are different this time around.

Second, you mean.
The first one that does that was Exthesis.

Huh. I thought one was a spin-off like Swordcraft and Twin Age.

Swordcraft and Exthesis are both in the same continuity as the main series.
Exthesis actually touched upon a couple of important topics too.

The models reminds of the ones from Shining Resonance. I wonder if this is the same engine?

It just means this is outsourced to Flight Unit as well.
They do character models so well that they are kinda everywhere.

Female protag looks kinda dumb. And her skirt is too short. I'll go with the guy.

Summon Night 6 introduces Magna, Hasaha, and Aty

I haven't played SN3, but Aty is a really REALLY popular character isn't she? This is the 3rd game she's a crossover over in.

I suppose parallel worlds give the developers an excuse too. Actually seems like she and Magna's role are pretty substantial here and not just mere fanserivce. It plays into the subtitle in some way.
