This does make me interested in going back to see how the demon hunter plays now. The turrets sucked, between their damage and their small area of effect. So Now I'm wondering if it will be decent or just triple the suck with a huge discipline bill.
Who else here has level 60 characters? |

There's probably more people that have 60s than don't. Hitting 60 in D3 means very little since you get it before the end of hell mode. Plvl 100 though...
I have a 60 monk and a 60 hc wizard. Unfortunately, I never leveled my Demon Hunter even though the archer class in D2 was my favorite class and I named her after my Amazon. Tragic really, after all my friends left there's just no incentive.

Well, I admit, that's actually quite impressive. The followers will be very interesting. Seeker buff is great.

I like the patch. Still remember how I had to abandon my CC ways on my DH when going up into Hell/Inferno. They're suggestion makes perfect sense (to me at least)... if they actually put it in.

Well, in light of this I tried to play again.
I entered inferno finally with my hc wizard, but naturally given that hell is nothing compared to inferno leaves me a bit worried especially since this is my first and only (and most likely last) wizard ever-- my only inferno experience is in softcore with a monk which doesn't help; first past was fairly easy since I was chatting with someone and not realizing an elite pack had started hitting me for a few swipes (lol block is amazing). However, I met an elite mortar pack in one of the cellars and just immediately backed out. I can't imagine how to deal with those teleporting enemies I'll meet later on. You can't even escape them... unless you can afford the expensive shit in hc. Been finding blizzard/hydra too boring and since arcane hydra is teh bomb now, I figured I'd try an arcane slow build. I like that I can spam Magic missile and slow down people. Maybe familiar? I don't really care about Arcane Orb. Ironically the actual slow time spell sucks balls. Also, I could use suggestions on what gear to prioritize next. And don't laugh at the gloves or boots; I tried searching for better on the AH with no buyout filter and it came up blank! WTF. And lets not bring up crit chance.

You're also saying you're mainly doing this to make money; therefore (small details like contracts and such aside) it's just another frikin job. My point was, if you want to get your 60 bucks/euro/etc back just get a real job. Better expenditure of time.

Yeah I was a little "oh that's cool" at first too. But given the horrible drop rate, and the 250 cap, at this point I don't even think of it as anything but the "horrible auction house that ruined the game's loot and item system" Trying to make money on it is not worth my time investment even in the slightest.
