A lot of JP comments instantly replied with stuff like "a sequel? no thanks" at the end of the episode. I'm all up for it hoping that next time the overall quality improves, i.e. when the studio isn't doing 4 shows at the same time.

Kuso teitoku = kuso teitoku. What do you want to know? He was already labelled kuso, for sending in a Taihaed Kisaragi into battle without checking on his ships first.

Episode 11 ended with Akagi helplessly watching a plane dropping a bomb on her while lamenting how fate can't be changed. The bomb is dropped, the screen turns black and we hear someone scream 'Akagi'. What an intense moment! How will this cliffhanger be resolved?

They changed the *** sceen! The bomb was never dropped and nobody screamed. The most intense moment of the series was retconned out of existance.
From that moment I knew it would be a 100% victory for our heroes, showing up one after another while spouting one liners from the game and ruining the atmosphere of the final battle.

The good points:
- Midway Hime appearing
- 2D Nagamon going melee

The very bad points:
- the ''''funny'''' moment with the two yuri destroyers was just annoying
- the abyssal fleet's connection with the girls wasn't touch upon
- 2D Nagamon with 3D Fubuki in one scene *argh*
- the admiral reappearing, a 'character' I don't know and don't care about
- no Hoppo cameo

I think it would be much better without being so obvious with the yuri stuff.

I'm the opposite. More yuri! Bring all the Yuri! It's why KTKM and Ooi are the best. The only thing I can really say other than I enjoyed the episode was I burst out laughing at

the admirals chair behind the curtains in the room where Ooyodo was. I don't know why but that made me really laugh for some reason.

I'm happy there's going to be a sequel. Add submarines next time pls. It'd also be a good oppurtunity to bring in more ships like Shigure, Kumano, Suzuya, Hamakaze, Amatsukaze, Ryuujyou, Hijyou, Jyunyou, Murakumo and Hamakaze. I'm just really glad Tama and Kuma got some proper screentime.

Yamato already used these when the princess was in her "henderson" mode.
It is very likely they already spent most/all of them against abyssal aircrafts. That or the anime staff forgot about them halfway.

The ciliffhanger was done like a 1930s-40s serial. The cliffhanger shows certain death, but the resolve shows something else so the hero lives. That was common place for cliffhangers.

I'm terribly amused at the "Season 2 coming!" screen after a whole episode of pretty... bad seriousness.
Anyways, terrible last episode. Fubuki defeating the oh-so-scary... umm, staff-holding enemy girl person... outside... of the screen... was so ye----a--h... No.
The loli(?)'s not-so-loli voice made me laugh too, but compared to the rest of the stuff going on...

It's a game bug, RNG sama programmed the wrong code of which is the true boss.

Nagamon, eh... Apparently she's got an entirely different move/skillset from the other girls that includes punching and kicking enemy ships (even though I was secretly hoping that she would, it was funny to watch). Ooi must have shelled out some cash for that moveset upgrade too.
