This is a case where both the English and Japanese dubs both did a good job of conveying the "edge" of Chiori's character. The way they did it was slightly different, and I'd probably argue that the JP dub is a bit closer to the look on her face in each scene (especially the neutral dead stare at the end), but each is well done. "Next time, I'll need to lock the windows too" is a great kicker line - it calls back to the fact people might not have noticed her closing the door earlier, and the (not so hidden) meaning is clear. Someone you do not want to mess with.

(Also ample fodder for the people who think she's undercover Shuumatsuban.)

Chronicled Wish for Mondstadt is only for Phase 1, meaning 3 weeks. You need to go all out on this banner since the fate point doesn't carry over. It does have the starter 4 stars, Amber Lisa and Kaeya.

tried pulling for Chiori. Triggered a 5 star in 60 pulls. Lost the 50/50.
my Noelle team would have to wait. Will get Chiori on her re-run

btw, the event weapon, Dialogues of the Desert Sages is decent on Yao-Yao. One of it's level up material come from the wolves in the new area in Liyue. I guess this is one way they make players explore that area.

Well, gonna skip every banners till Pyro Archon. I thought I'd roll just 3 multi for Neuvilette's signature weapon. Turn out I needed 6 multis for a gold spark. The good news, I won the 50/50 for that. Then I did one last multi on Neuvilette. Got his C1. After the C1 for Xianyun. So I gonna need to do lots of events, abyss till at least october, I think, to earn hopefully enough for Pyro Archon

I realized my Hu Tao is more than enough for pyro DPS.

I think this is the first x.6 patch that doesn't have a part 2 story quest of an Archon. 1.6 was Zhongli's, 2.6 was Raiden's, 3.6 was Nahida's. Forget Venti, he's never getting a part 2 story quest. Isn't it sad Furina?

I think they've actually done a pretty good job this time of having all the character quests (and even some of the events) branch off directly from the Archon quest, so they all feel like various kinds of denouement from different angles. Between Furina's character quest, her involvement in the Film Festival, and the omake scenes in Lantern Rite, it kind of doesn't feel like there's *that* much left to resolve with her at this point. She's moved forward with her new life now and is clearly not the Archon anymore. But Arlecchino, on the other hand, is a pretty major unresolved plot thread directly tied to the Archon Quest (and obviously the broader lead-up to Snezhnaya), so I think it makes sense for them to sort of move in this direction and break the "pattern" here. I suppose the real pattern is that the x.6 patch unlocks the second weekly boss for the region, so in that sense the pattern will stick even though it's being done via a different character this time.

After getting only one new character for 2 patches straight, we get 3 new characters. In this economy that's amazing. The waifu flood(that we know of) stop here now after nonstop releases since Furina. Been very brutal, more so that I've been losing every 50/50 since Navia. I really hope I get Arle early or at least win the 50/50.
