I found this is to be boring...we got Melida Angel who seems to be kinda clumsy for the female protagonist.

On the other hand, Vampir (is that really his name..?) has a cooler personality. However, his voice sounds robotic. Pretty much just an introductory epsiode serving to introduce the main characters. The action was probably the only part that was alright. This just screams medicority to me but I'll give it a chance to see where it goes. Melida such a weak character though, sigh.

Ah......good, old fantasy school battle anime. I miss them so much in the sea of Isekai anime nowadays. Also, how rare it is to see male MC that is not a teenage boy!

Phew, this is anime from LN that I'm looking forward to and glad to see it gets at least a decent adaptation. City landscape and design looks beautiful. Somehow, I have never imaged that the sky will be dark like that all the time.

I think the first ep., while it presents some plot points well, is a bit too rush and should spend more time on "Melida bad days". However, after I saw a comment above me about Melida maybe speeding through early part of story has its good points.

Not great but also not disappoint.

Me too, I was dying to see Kufa's reaction to the maids first description of him being a handsome demonic teacher or the little hentai moment like it depict in the LN and manga.

I agree it was kind of boring and slow-paced, but at least it did an effective job of makign us feel for Melida.

First episode was clearly mean to get us emotionaly invested in the girl but as far as I am concerned it failed in that regard. Main Character make terrible assassin too.

Well I hope he at least isn't pedo.

I wanted to see Melida finally break down in tears after Kufa saved her, him opened to his past of the night world and so on
