These OVAs have been rather amusing and thoroughly enjoyable, they even manage to throw in a little plot and character dev and not just any old kinda stuff, it actually manages to fit, which is a little surprise

They did fit the plot in rather well. I thought they could have devoted an extra 45 seconds to explain a couple of things but the character development was there from start to finish.

& especially when most of us weren't expecting much apart from the porn, i can say both episodes turned out rather nicely.

Some time later, I think it was a year or so, Sylvie returns with her father after the conflict was all sorted out. Then we get an awesome naked apron scene they should have included.

I hope this sells enough that they do Charlotte.

Oh and the vocal songs from the VN were very good, especially the insert song.

Eh, there wasn't much of a plot in my opinion. As for character development, it wasn't any different from a lot of other hentai. Teppei was your typical faceless protagonist while Sylvia started as a proud female knight and ended up as a slutty female knight. Other characters were non-existent. Furthermore, the dialogues were just terrible, especially during the sex scenes. Why wouldn't she shut up? It seriously ruined the mood for me.

I think everyone wished she had stopped talking. I still give this a good score, especially since it's just about all normal scenes.

It's not the fact that she kept talking, but she's all over the place with how she felt that kinda bothers me. No, then yes, then no...

Still, like many others here, I've enjoyed & still holding out hope for other PL females to make their own OVA's.

L. 's official website has been updated with a rather scrumptious illustration of Charlotte (I think it was drawn by Hito no Fundoshi? They're talking about this circle anyway). It'd be nice if someone could translate the post. I think they only say they wish to make a sequel starring Charlotte, and didn't really confirm whether they'll really do it or not. At any rate, this shows they're not forgetting about this licence. I'd say a sequel it's very likely to happen. Anyone know how well Sylvia's OVAs sold?

If they do do Charlotte, I wonder how many people will be annoyed that they didn't follow her route in the first anime series, cause I sure was after I finished it.

I just finished both the anime and the OVA. The anime only made me wish I could somehow get back the time I wasted. Even the OVA was better (but in respect to other H-anime out there, it might be 'meh' for just about the same reason Marty17 gave). But it took me awhile to get adjusted to the new VA's, the fact that the guy's face is not shown, and how unbelievably different the maid appeared.

As far as harem is concerned, I guess this was as close to a decision a guy in a typical "sudden-five-girlfriends-appearances" type of anime could make.

On a slightly different note, does anyone know where I can get a general idea of the storylines for the various routes in the original game?

Other than getting the game and hooking it up to a online translation system, no. You could always wiki it, but usually there's no english summaries for H-games unless they're being manually translated, officially by a company or unofficially by a subbing group.

She convinces him about her love for Teppei, saying Teppei accepts her for being Charlotte, not as princess or anything else; her true self. Her father consents and disavowes her of her royalty, but says she will always be his daugther (aww). Teppei arrives, after getting his ass kicked for no reason haha, and after briefly greeting her father, leaves with Charl. They live happily ever after on their own since Teppei he to leave his house as well. The final CG is them walking to see the cherry blossoms with Charl pregnant.

So, they kept a lot of the elements. The only scene that matched the VN was the last one. They took some parts from a middle scene and added it to the car one (how to please), but most of it was original (good thing, cause that maid uniform was awesome. The scene in the dojo did happen. Teppei visits her competition and doesn't come forward, but she does spot him.

I wonder if they'll do the other girls. I'm sure it'd sell well, lol.

So, the gist of this is the same as what we got in the TV anime. Her family and Teppei's having some previous dealings and what not. Isshin calls Seika a "fox woman."

She is a terribly cute tsundere. Very much like Rin, which brings me to saying once again, that the people at Ricotta are huge F/SN fans.

Charlotte OVA has been officially announced. They're currently planning to release it on November. Seems like they're going with Kuroda Kazuya's design again. I kinda like Hito no fundoshi's better (you can compare them on the official website).

That is a good question. I was really wondering how'd they do with her story. The ending was really great in the novel and all.
