I am never quite sure if I should see Nishikata as lucky bastard for having the daily attention of a cute girl or unlucky bro for getting teased daily while he just wants to be respected for being a cool dude (which he is, just not the way he wants to be). Screw that! He is a lucky bastard! I've read the spin-off, I know you are gonna get teased for the rest of your life anyway, so own it, Nishikata, pay this tiny price for happiness!!!

That was a cute first episode. In the end it's hard to feel too much pity for Nishikata when he abandons victory. Victory was quite literally in his hand, but he just can't admit it yet. And I think it is fine so long as it stays like this. It's pretty much just flirting. Besides being rather good at things, Takagi's greatest advantage is that she's just honest with herself.
I do like moments when Nishikata gets to be a bit cool though. Sure it was his fault for bumping into her in the first place. But he still went all out to make sure Takagi didn't fall into the water. This should be a nice and fun second season.

Every time I watch a new ep I can't help but smile all the way through. Takagi's real good at coming up with challenges and "punishments" that'd be fine by her no matter how they turn out. Not to mention that she's a master of confessing without confessing. Mano and Nakai are pretty adorable too, and Nakai's at least good enough to own up to his failings and apologize when he's hurt her.
I wonder if every ep's going to be a different song... |

Watched episode 1:
Nice, Takagi and Nishikata are back. Takagi is really sweet saying that she liked it when Nishikata wrote a letter to her. Laughed at the hypno and Mina not getting enough sleep.  Takagi-san is always the last show I watch among the anime I follow. But when I do watch the episode, I always feel entertained.

Mina's chocolates were confiscated! And I see Nakai-kun is also scared of sensei. Well, but that's not so bad.. the choco were returned after school.  Takagi-san is amazing, that's all I can say.

The whole class must be thinking "get married already!". Loved how disappointed Takagi was when she noticed that Nishikata was more thinking about pranking her than spending time with her. Or her brief blushes/surprises when he said he wanted to be together in class next year or dropped her honorific. But if he is already like that with her honorific than confessing to her will be impossible, like totally impossible. If Takagi doesn't want to be the one confessing then she has a hard time ahead of her getting this guy to confess to her.^^
