Though to be fair, when people ask me whether I drink/have sex/do drugs, I have no issue in saying it

I don't enjoy getting excessive. Everyday life provides me with enough fulfillment without the need to get off.

Depends. But I'll definitely keep it in mind at the very least.
There's a saying "Children and drunkards speak the truth." (it's fools instead of drunks in the english idiom) and I find it to be true in most cases.

Sometimes the guy was just confused or simply felt lonely suddenly. But since I'm often misinterpreting guy signs I make sure not to forget personally.

Whereas your boss knows it's time to quit when she stars ranting in Spanish after a few brews.

What can I say? Alcohol is weaksauce. Never been drunk even when I've had a substantial amount of drinks. I don't need it to get off. Beer is bitter, red wine tastes like dirt, white wine is tasteless, cider is either too sweet or too heavy-feeling, spirits are just bland. And all booze is overpriced. That's my biggest issue. No drink is worth that asking price.

The only reason I acknowledge alcohol's existence is Stone Cold.

And what would your brew be anyway, Syn? Heineken, Corona, Beck, Guinness, Crown?

Unless the families on both sides have at least one brewery, making some of the best sake/soju in the world.

The pressure to take on the family business and better it would be a high price.

And sake is way too light.

If you'd done it any later, you'd be feeling worse. Granted, it's never easy, but in time, both of you will be able to move on and find something else to keep you busy. For now, just focus on why you had to break it off, else it'll all be in vain.

It's part of life and an inevitability. You can never really know another person. They might let you in more than most others, but in the end, a person can never truly know another. The two of you became very different people. In the long run, this was the best choice for you. It will suck now, but it will get better. Just focus on what you need to do right now. If anything, you've learnt something about relationships, love and being with another person. It will benefit you in the long run.

And if you really need a pick-me-up, try The Avalanches - Since I Left You

More like Lina Inverse casting Dragon Slave.

So apparently 1 in 3 people cheat on their partner while in a relationship. And apparently there's a growing business for catering for affairs...*shiver*
