it's sad that this show is ending soon, but i am in love with this show anyway. i want to see the gun fight and the date too. i just love how this show can have a mixture of subjects like censhership (sp?), the government, etc. the animation is also very unique, i would be happy with another season, but i don't mind if it doesn't either.

OMG!!!! OMG!!! i scream at the end of the episode!!!!! i cant believe it!!!! Doujou was in the middle of the fire!!! and the previews didnt show him!!! And just in this episode Kasahara and he went to see some flowers... and.. i cant wait for the subs because i didnt understand almost anything but... Lt.Doujou nooooooooooooo!!!!
By the way, something is happening this week, its my second bishounen trapped in the fire

I actually disagree... I think it handles romance much nicer than many... it's refreshing to see a show where the romance is straightforward, rather than either the cliche love triangles and the even worse "let's be friends while amicably fighting for the affections of this dunce." Everyone knows who/what they like (except Tezuka) and they go for it.

I fully agree, since it actually makes non-fanboys/girls squee while not being cringe-worthy to others as seen by the so many forgettable harem shows out there.

Masterfully done character interaction, I must say. So at least if people can't suspend their disbelief for the storyline premise, the characters are most certainly more human than those of most shows.

So do all the women who work the Affairs department look like Shibasaki and all the ones who work for the Defense department look like Kasahara? It's not just the uniforms, it's their whole appearance. It's almost as if there's a class cleavage between upper-class officers and working-class grunts.

Though I do admit the Head Librarian doesn't quite meet the standard of beauty that the young ladies under her command display.

I still didn't really understand the motivation for the hazing of Kasahara. Was it really just that she represented the armed faction among the librarians? Was it just "being girls" as Kasahara later puts it? I kept waiting for the meganekko girl to explain why they were oppressed. Maybe I'm looking too deeply here?

Gunfights, huh? I rather wondered if we might get a Ghandi-esque episode next where they manage to protect the work of art without resorting to weapons. Then in the final episode everyone lives happily ever after and Dojo and Kasahara have that date. Isn't that the agenda?

So I was totally expecting for Dojo to kiss Iku when she was freaking out after she killed those guys but was clearly dissapointed. What a bummer . But I am hoping for something in the last episode b/c in the preview it should them alone in the dark. This show was uber cute, really hope they do make more It makes me want to read the manga.

okay i watched half of episode 10, what is wrong with those girls? they are acting so stuck up, i wish kasahara could do something to them, but then it would make it harder for the girls in the defense dept who are left behind. man, these chicks need a big slap across the face.
