A little tidbit out of my daily life ... at least I got a chuckle out of it, don't know about you xD

My mother is currently learning how to use the computer properly for emailing and (of course!) facebook. Today she was uploading photos again and faced a little problem:

*her head pokes into my room*
Mom: "... theres something wrong D:"
Me: "What is it?"
Mom: "I uploaded the photos, but there are three empty boxes instead of photos!

"
Me: "Did you cancel the upload before it was finished?"
Mom: "... no, I waited ._."
Me: "Then it might be our connection, try pressing F5."
Mom: "F5?"
Me: "Yeah, F5 that button at the top *hovers over her own F5 key*. It reloads the page."
Mom: "Okay!

*vanishes out of sight*"

2 minutes silence

*her head pokes into my room*
Mom: "That doesn't do a thing! D:"
Me: "You pressed F5?"
Mom: "Yeah! Several times! First F than 5, right?"
Me: ".... F5 ...... F5 - not F and 5. *shows her the button on my laptop*"
Mom: "LOL, okay now I know! Thought it was the same as that ctrl+a thing! *vanishes again"

1 minute of silence

Mom shouting: "The photos are there!!!

*happy*"

She's perfectly capable of sending me cancer warning emails, though

But she really learned a lot already! *proud* XD

The next morning he got up early and left for work. When his wife woke
up, she looked out the window and sure enough there was a box
gift-wrapped in the middle of the driveway.

Confused, the wife put on her robe and ran out to the driveway, brought
the box back in the house.

She opened it and found a brand new bathroom scale.

Bob has been missing since Friday.
