So undramatic ending. I means it's interesting way to end it, but just after Karen's arc with Kaiki which pretty much the same thing happened
So Karen and Tsukihi still don't know about Hitagi? And what happened with Karen and Kanbaru? Karen showed some good spirit through Frankly the best screen of the episode for me was Yotsugi's left hanging in that X( face

I really enjoyed this episode as it brought back a lot of what I love about this series (besides senjougahara). The shots were great, the dialogue was awesome, it was funny without being corny or overdone, and it oozed style.
I agree that as a whole Bake was hand over fist better than Nise, but I really did enjoy Nise and I can't wait to see Kizu even if it means no Senjougahara. Hopefully they really do follow through and do the rest of the novels, that would be awesome. Definitely one of the best series I've seen in a long long time. |

Fakes, reals ... the main thing that stood out for me was Shinobu having a teenage body now, which brings me a few episodes back to her inviting Araragi to massage her chest, and him lamenting the fact she didn't do so while in adult form. Too bad Araragi was so beat up he has yet to catch on to the new "perspectives" that Shinobu's new form has opened up. Obviously the most important development of the arc, considering everything else pretty much ends up maintaining status quo

Which actually might be fun- we know that Aranagi's getting thrashed from the sound alone, but we know that the battle down-stairs is going the other way around. And furthermore, the longer the Aranagi persist (and he can persist forever, so long as he wishes to), the greater the chance that Yotsugi would be permanently smashed out of commission.... |

I do wonder how good Araragi is when he's actually serious. I don't think we've ever seen him get serious and he's always a straight up punching bag. I mean I don't want choreographed fights all the time but atleast show him to be competent if he is.
I also kinda hate how everything seems to be resolved with words. I was hoping the exorcist was going to take a hardline thus forcing Araragi to get serious to protect his sister. I did laugh at his 'you treated me like a human being' after she beat him to a point where any human on earth would be dead. |

Oh come on, he didn't need to know that.
Couldn't you just let Hitagi fans have their moments without you making unncessary comments here and there (you've made it perfectly clear that she's not your favorite). You can't even let that pass you even if it's the last episode !!! One of the reasons why I don't even post in this sub-forum anymore is because couple worshipping annoyances. When Kizu movie comes (which is probably one of the best of all Monogatari series) all you Shinobu/Hanekawa fans will have your time in the spotlight. |

Awesome episode. Not an epic finale people would love to see, but an excellent ending in its own way. We got to see Shinobu in her more grown up form, somewhat intellectual dialogue which we all missed from Bakemonogatari and Tsukihi finally showing her dere side.
I don't see what there is to not like about this episode.

If sucking Araragi's blood helps Shinobu regain her powers, what's stopping her from sucking him dry?
BTW, not only did Shinobu regain her powers, she could change her clothes from a tank to a jacket instantly. Last edited by TimeSkip; 2012-03-18 at 04:50. |
