Akazukin Chacha - I loved this one to death. It was my first anime that I got addicted to.
Fushigi Yuugi - The first shoujo I've ever watched <3 Although the opening song gives me the creeps Card Captor Sakura - no need to explain Slam Dunk - The best basketball anime <3 Yuyu Hakusho El Hazard Pokemon - Yes I actually loved this show. Though I didn't like the 2nd season above. I blame the pokemon GB game for this. DBZ - although I never really completed it till last year. Grander Musashi You Are Under Arrest Cooking Master Boy Yes most of these series was shown in axn-asia XD. AXN > Animax |

Sailor Moon got me into anime first... Next was Yu Yu Hakusho which I still recognize as a great show, and then I went all out for the DBZ dynasty for a long long time.
And Saint Seiya... Not very popular in the US, but come on?? Classic. SO much better than DBZ or Yu Yu Hakusho. Shounen fans who haven't watched this need to get it on amazon asap... (you can buy a used dvd with 4 eps for under $5). |

We also enjoyed lots of the sentai series that came out. Those shows were way better than Power Rangers. Gotta add another show from my childhood days that might be familiar to some of you ..... Thundersub (or Blue Noah). I was also quite fortunate to see Astroboy and Kimba, though those aren't really from the 80s (I think). |
