Oh right.... propaganda. Can't have our heroine get injured in front of an audience.
TSAB: The injuries were light and she returned back to service. This heavy injury didn't happen. She didn't die when she was killed. She returned within five minutes after a fatal injury.

TSAB: "The Device Durandal was never developed to freeze a human being for all eternity, it's a simple ice-magic based Device that was in the possession of Admiral Harlown at the time of the incident. There also never was a TSAB officer that acted on his own and planned to use said Device against another human being, as our after incident investigations made clear." Gil Graham: *sneezes*

Kinda makes you think what he and his catgirls were thinking when they watched the movie.

I've added some stuff to my review on page 59.
Is the film actually made by TSAB or was that just a joke? If it is "made by TSAB" as in it exists within the universe of Nanoha itself then that would explain why Graham was removed. But wouldn't they want to keep quiet about the wolkenritter? |

Yes and no. The sound stages that address it as an in-universe movie are known to break the fourth wall, making it a little unbelievable, and back during the first movie's run, Tsuzuki said that the movies were an alternate continuity from the series, so I think it's unlikely that it's officially a movie in-universe.

Signum barges in the TSAB PR dept... Signum: I want a 2vs2 battle with Captain Takamachi, Enforcer T. Harlaown, Lieutenant Vita. and myself at the Tactics Festival. TSAB personnel: Did they agree to it. Signum: Yes. TSAB personnel: Okay then, you got it. Signum: *evil grin* Thank you

Hmmm, interesting, but does conflict with earlier canon that magic color in genetic. But then, this sounds like every other "color horoscope" thing. Heck, they even joke with it. Best to probably take this with a pinch of salt.

So while it could still be magic (at least, I haven't found a straight yes or no yet) it at the very least is used in a different way from the usual magic. Personally, I find it more similar to the cyborg's IS powers. Looks similar to magic, but uses a different energy. Which'd make sense, given that Amitie and Kyrie are androids, and thus wouldn't posses a linker core. |
