The important thing that got everyone talking about is that the main characters are Claire Redfield who has been away from the limelight since RE: Degeneration, as well as Moira Burton- daughter of the LEGENDARY Barry Burton (lol).

The best thing about this RE is that it's back to it's horror roots.
Worst thing about it is that since Capcom saw TellATales The Walking Dead episodic game they're trying that formula and later on a full disc game will be released. IMHO I'd wait it out. I won't be surprise if this is before RE6 storyline and Barry and Chris would be our secondary protagonist. Also what's up with Claire having the brown Leon jacket? Also now why does Claire and Barry's daughter look like a mis-mash of Ellen Page?

So a thread on this series gets made. Sweet. I've been away from the net for awhile and I never realized that this news really hit close to home. As someone who enjoyed the first RE Revelations (minus the forced co-op "shudders in disgust"). I'm still skeptical about them saying this is game will return to its roots, but for now I'm going to wait and see where this goes.
On the other hand, it's great to see Claire Redfield on the front lines again. She's been way overdue for a gameplay appearance and now she's finally here. Hate to admit it but Capcom I'm going to give you +1 and a little bit of credit for this choice. Barry Burtons daughters it seems...nice addtion. First Jake and now this, but it'll be nice to get a good idea on how or where Barry's life had taken him since the events of RE1. Quote:

True not liking the new redesign for Claire. Red jacket though reminds me of RE4 Leon.
