I'm more of the kind of guy who prefers to avoid such things. I'm not going to hide it, personally, I hate it. When such things happen for either ends, you know it's going to be an easy ticket to banhammers once you jump into the bandwagon in the first place. When such "confrontation" happens I'd like to put the blame on both sides for even trying to start. Usually, from what I've seen over the Net, it's usually a crazy barrage of ad hominem attacks against each other with neither side wanting to agree nor give in, and everyone who sees that knows there is no point trying to use reason, as all they want is: It's always about "Me awesome, you suck, I win, you lose", and there'd be no compromises. Always about proving who's superior as in... well, superior. Probably in the "When I'm awesome, I'm awesome. When I suck, I'm still awesome. When you're awesome, you suck. When you suck, you suck worse" for lack of a better description. Taking this into the perspective of this board, if one ever breaks out, I'd suggest an immediate ban (with reason) for all sides involved, if I had the authority - and a thread lock so that it serves as a lesson towards anyone who ever tries to instigate such things.

You might be trying to ask that "Are anime authors making action anime/manga have knowledge or actually does martial arts?
I go more on the NO side. They make researches or just do copy from other anime/manga for reference... Anyway. How could I add a srt to a video, make it a hard sub? I'm using Handbreak... and currently finding a way... >The original file is .mp4, but nothing happened when I tried importing it... > Currently, I'm trying to convert it to mkv with importing then coverting back to mp4... will that work? Update: >I managed to make one... but it needs 4 different applications during the conversion process to make it... anyone has an easier way? Last edited by NoemiChan; 2013-02-03 at 21:37. |

I've never used handbrake. The hardsub methods I know both involve avisynth. The easier one uses VirtualDub to encode both video and audio, while the better quality one uses x264 to encode the video and ffmpeg to mux in the audio. An encoding expert could probably give you a better answer, but the methods I use should be sufficient for personal use. I can give you a step-by-step if you provide more detail on exactly what you're looking for.

I kinda surprised how few Malaysian compare to Indonesia and Singaporean (and Pinoy to certain extend) even thought we are neighborhood and share similar general interest.

Joking aside, i really thought that Malays were just shorten version for Malaysians till very recently: "My friend, the Malays guys from Indonesia..."; "Wait, what, is he a Malaysian or Indonesian?" Anyway, new question: have fast food's price increased a fair bit in last decade? I remember that it used to be 6$ for the largest meal 10 years ago. But it's now 10-11 bucks. That is like 70-80% increase within a decade. Don't think the inflation has been going up by that much in the same period (RBA said the inflation in the past decade in Australia is 28%)

Btw, I have a question. Does anyone know the name of the voice actor who voiced one of the common thugs in Hitman:Absolution and also one of the thugs during Arkham City's tutorial with Cat Woman? It feels like I've heard him from somewhere, but can't quite remember it. If it helps, he's the one who speaks the line "he's the scalpel, we're the hammer" in Hope Fair mission in H:A.

Is there something going on between Indonesians and Malaysians in general (not necessarily between members of this forum), maybe even historically, that would make you ask this question? It seems unlikely that the question would just come up to you out of nowhere. |

The earliest one is Ganyang Malaysia movement around 1960s. After that, there are several confrontation that includes Ambalat island, "Rasa sayang-sayange" song, Batik dispute, and many more. You can ask more detail to our history master, Ridwan. |
