I pretty much liked the episode, it looked cool most of the time and almost like I imagined the battle (dirty and bloody).

As still nobody knows what's important and what's not, nobody knows if important parts were missing or exactly the right parts were in...who knows.
The only thing that bugged me a bit was the absence of Lambdas red truth...well at least she said she would have used so much more of it.

Well I'll leave ripping the anime to shreds to all of you. I liked it and I think it worked ways better as an adaption then Higurashi.

What's with DEEN and the lack of red? That's what irks me the most.

Calling me crazy but despite changing some things, this episode was really intense and had a lot of emotion (not as much as the VN of course). They handled the final scenes a lot better than I thought they would. I enjoyed it.

It is a better adaption than Higur by far, it's also a much worse anime.

If they do have a second season mabye it will be just the 5th and 6th games over 24-26 episodes?

Well, they probably considered that the anime-only viewers can assume that she's dead, too, since Beatrice said that Battler is alone on the island.

unless they won't animate anything else, i don't think the budget would let them.

No way they do that with the crappy sales Umineko has had. Honestly if we get a 2nd season at all I would think it's part of the deal for when Umineko got turned into an anime the first place. I.e "I'll let you adapt Umineko but you have to adapt all of it".

they use more time goldenslaugther (an excelent song but IT DON'T FIT IN A DISCUSSION) than endless nine that was PERFECT for that part, nice deen.

I loved this episode, and despite cuts in red (which doesn't matter anymore imo as they cut too much already) I rate it 10/10. I didn't watch screenshots or read the ranting here before I watched it, and I think that's why I managed to watch it being optimistic. I really loved how they managed to keep the duel in such a short time and even though the fan made ending is alot better, I liked this version too. Oh, and I actually thought they would ignore the wedges, but I am so glad they didn't...

All I have to say is that this episode was awesome!

Watching the anime this past half-year was an enjoyable experience, I look forward to reading Chiru, and hope an anime of that will come someday as well!

I actually loved this episode, mind everyone else and the few people who did like it.
I don't care about music or red or what they cut out, what matters is that we get to see it animated, and I thought It was animated well.
Can't wait for subs, though.

Even though there was hardly any emotion, I felt whatever emotion it had.
I really liked this episode, and I wish they would have cut the ED out because I don't like it and they could have put at least 1:30 more into the episode.
Also, the ??? made me think "WTF are they talking abut"

Some bits they did well, others I'm disappointed in. I know they have money and time constraints, but uuggghhhhhh!!! I don't know what to say. I'm giving it a 6/10.
