Great episode, Kurami showed much more emotion than I thought, I imagined her to act more annoyed with Sora's antics.
Every Imanity is sitting next to each other and watch the game anxiously, only Kurami has a VIP seat with roof. All that swag they had going on before the game disappeared in the few seconds in which the stage was revealed, GG Sora & Shiro. I especially liked the preview, Ino in a post-apocalyptic world, wearing leather vests in Hokuto no Ken style. Seems like the game settings and preferences have changed dramatically when he was the representative compared to Izuna now.

That was a great episode. I really like Kurami's interactions with the rest of the group. I also expect whatever Sora told Steph to be something that shows that he actually does have faith in her. But of all the things they could face it had to be being back in Tokyo.

LOL nice. I love how the Virtual Reality program and what the Werebeasts think as the future is the Tokyo Metropolis. Cultural differences indeed.
I like how this series takes into account such differences in priorities and how it can affect which technologies get advanced LOL.

awww, Izuna-tan's panties are off the bets? Get your priorities right, Sora!
How does the warbeasts know how Tokyo looks like? It feels weird to see that they know this much and fail to notice that Blank was from another world 2 episodes ago. Speaking of which, how do they get electricity here? How do Sora keep his gadgets charged?

I'm more interested as to what the actual game is, it looks like a FPS video game set in tokyo, with that old werebeast in bulletproof armor while beating up enemies.
That would mean the werebeasts are at an advantage considering their physical prowess, even if it's all virtual. on the other hand, all [] did before was play the game while sitting on a couch, the might be genius level tacticians, but if they didn't have the pawns to move around, it would be all for nothing. looks like that's what sora gave dola, superpowers.. oh well, this is only pure speculation anyway, looking forward to next week!

The first part of the episode was slow, but charming and entertaining nonetheless.
A very nice twist there, having them play in Tokyo. You have to wonder how the Eastern Federation figured out that that was Sora's one weakness? So, I think it's important to mention how great the soundtrack to this show really is. This episode definitely showed it off very very well. The use of turn tables and beats really chills out the bright colors and high energy characters very nicely. |

I'm starting to wonder if the miracle ruler of the warbeasts is actually a warbeast. This knowledge of Tokyo and the gaming technology in general...seems hard to believe this race actually developed all that on their own. Is there reason to believe that Sora and Shiro are the only people from Earth that Tet has brought over? Maybe the warbeasts great ruler is some cosplayer .
Hopefully whatever measures Sora took with Steph before the game started will pay off. And while that might have been intentional, this episode definitely boosted how much I liked Kurami's character. Somewhat fun to have a girl who knows Sora well enough to throw him off. Technically Shiro does also, but that's not really in her character.
