Well I guess that would explain how Gray is going to get out of this situation without somehow overpowering this guy. Though I can only guess at how Gildarts ended up getting arrested and thrown in there

Me too lol. It would also make Gildarts relatively old lol. But Gildarts is one of my favorite characters, so I'm currently in high spirits.

I'm on the fence if Gildarts will introduce Gray to Fairy Tail or just name drop the guild as a place for Gray to head towards on his journey. I guess it depends on how much focus they want on Gray just traveling around as a kid before looking at his early years in Fairy Tail.

Well, this chapter confirmed two things we already know:

1. It really was Gildarts.
2. Gildarts is awesome.

It also kinda tickles me to know that Gildarts was the first Fairy Tail wizard Gray met.

I thought the fact that Gildarts was a womanizer was confirmed when he started listing off women when Cana told him her identity.

This only shows how far he will go a for a one night stand.
