Anyway this episode was in one word: awesome. I love how they make the dramatic scene light hearted. Although the scene between Tenma and mr. turtle… >.< that was a bit too much. |

Lmao, I could've sworn through the battle scene of this episode I thought I was watching a Chow Yun-Fat / John Woo movie. Esspecially with the gun fight , now that you mentioned it totally is like the movie Equilibruim. Anyways I thought the episode was great and entertaining.
Definately Harima's delay finishing shot on Mikoto was awsome, waiting for Hanai so he can see it lol. Thats just plain evil yet genuis at the same time. |

The episode 3 battle footage is different, because it is modified by Akira for her film project. The blood, the drama, the freeze frame... They are all there to spice up the film. Akira is a master with CG blood, it appears.

Episode 3 is viewed from the perspective of the movie that Akira is recording. When the game ends, the screen zooms out from Akira's computer. Episode 2 felt closer to the manga, since they went with more 'normal' action sequences. The action scenes in Episode 3 were very much exaggerated in comparison - the addition of the blood and the fight scene on the roof pushes the episode to be almost a caricature of the manga chapters that it was based on. I thought it was an interesting effect. |
