About the earlier part is right but in the middle part start from stars and parasite incident it turn to half right coz even though 101 is independence but still have law and regulation they need to follow PLUS interfere by another element(politicians, 10 master clan or others like 4th lab sponsor especially) make them hard to move out.

And the last part you need re-read again the whole volume coz i forgot which one contain information regarding why he make such decision. What i remember it has something to do with Miyuki safety, priority and capability also excuse.

Tatsuro wanted Tatsuya to drop out and continue helping out Tatsuro and Sayuri as another piece of equipment basically because all they had him doing was using regrowth to restore their failed experiments. Sayuri is jealous because Third division has built a reputation as the real money maker and source of innovations for FLT and it is all due to Taurus Silver aka Tatsuya and Ushiyama.

The Military has flat out ruled that Mist Dispersal and Elemental Sight are classified Military secrets and have forbidden him from using them in front of witnesses. Miyuki is the primary and the Military comes second and Maya is third in line for commanding Tatsuya. If Miyuki gives Tatsuya an order then the Military cannot override her authority no matter what. Say for instance when the GAA soldiers confronted them in the convention hall Miyuki told Tatsuya to remove them from her sight there is nothing the Military could due about it and all she had to do was tell Kazama that Tatsuya would not be deploying and would escort her to safety instead. It would have been fun to see Kazama try to threaten Miyuki with arrest or punishment because we all know how Tatsuya reacts to anything threatening Miyuki.

I was rereading some of the volumes and I realized that Tatsuya while fighting Lina said that he cannot use AoE magic which he needed because she kept using Parade to avoid him locating her yet after this arc ended, he was remembering Honami and how she had to sacrifice herself for him to use Material Burst but now he has learned how to use AoE Decomposition so he wouldn't need anyone protecting him. Does this mean Tatsuya only recently learned to do so between his fight with Lina and the beginning of the new year ?

Iirc, aoe decomposition is just a wall that decompose everything that pass through. It is not aoe per say.

It is almost equivalent as designating a area of decomposition around his hand during Yokohama.

I wanted to ask upon tatsuya's skills of Calibrating CAD's... Is it truly his own skills or the use of Elemental Sight? I was wondering if it was a Plot hole or not, using it in the testing of his abilities and 9SC would be known that he's at least doing something right?

But I remember in one Volume said that using it is like cheating from what other people would say but Tat's not one to quibble over stuff like that.

What do you guys think or know?

It's 50/50 actually. Tatsuya wouldn't be Silver if he lacked the great engineering skills he has and relied solely on his Elemental Sight.
