Is there any story element left for new Mazinger Z to explore? I thought Shin Mazinger already explored everything that can be explored about Mazinger Z. Will this movie be about Ankoku Dai Shogun again? I don't mind if they will do it in 3DCG that look as good as Gantz:O.

-The director is so passionate about Mazinger Z that he researched every existing document about Mazinger Z and briefed his team thanks to it.
-They can't give us a date. It will be seen first abroad and after that in Japan
-It will be shown in Europe first
-Go Nagai had some fears about the 2D and CGI mix but he's actually really happy with how it ended up, it looks really cool he said !

It's actually floating around, technically speaking. I've seen it. Sometimes, as of now, the 3D models lack frames, though these are rare instances.

Let's hope it's true and the animation quality won't be nowhere close to that horrendous first PV in the near-top of this page.

I actually like Sayaka's look (and pretty much all three characters' looks). In this era of moe-fied characters, they making Kabuto & Sayaka looking mature is one of the best scenarios we can get.
