I would say that If Kyouko aim to ruin Saki's play, it will create a lot of troble for Saki. How? that's what we have to wait to see.

But that's the ideal situation in which Kyouko won't have to worry about other players controlling the table so she can destroy Saki's hands. But Usuzan's captain is hyped to be a big monster and Nelly seems to be flow control user. Focusing too much on Saki may affect her play and may lose points to other monster players. I remember, in quarter final match, she even admits that she can't handle 3 monster players and struggles big time until Saki gets involved.

I wouldn't call Shizu a normal player. So far she hasn't demonstrated any intelligent play like Yumi. She only has superpower that allows her to nullify others' superpowers. So she's also a national level monster just like others

On the plus side, the latest ShinoKanna finally has translations, literally just finished by one cool guy (?) at 4chan, and it's pretty good.

Kanna is such a tsundere for everything, but at least she knows when she's done something wrong (like lashing at her friends for daring to beat her at mahjong) and tries to make ammends for it, even if takes a lot of effort, like literally googling how to apologize effort. Kanna is such a cutie. And honestly, her expressions are awesome. Nisekoi has nothing on her.

Though Kyoka did get to be a cool friend this chapter, at the end, Kanna's complaining about how despite having friends to play with, she still feels incomplete. Guess who comes through the door at that very moment

Yes, this actually connects with Shino's story when she first enters the room.

At the very least she'll complete her diet

Don't think it said. I only used google translator on it. It did reveal two names of Kanna's friends and some other character heights.

Shinohayu finally came out and I liked it a lot. Kanna and her friends are pretty cute together. Best part was her saying how incomplete she was and then Shino walks through the door.

That takes 6 years in waiting if we presume Saki meets Teru in final match.

Oh man, the 'how to apologize' thing got me good I felt sorry for her while at the same time feeling proud of her as well.

I'm really enjoying Kanna's development. So far she seems like one of the more realistic/relatable characters in the Sakiverse. And I'm guessing Kyouka will be one of her future team mates? She's pretty caring towards Kanna.

The final round may shoter than other rounds because they already showed a flashback of most teams.

Shiraitodai still lack theirs , and Yuuki , Hisa , Nodoka , Saki , Satoha , Choe , Yuu Arata and Nelly can still have some . ( Megan should haver hers this match against Nodoka .

@Marina flashback maybe shorter, but the match itself will be longer, internal monolog and the interaction between the payer itself too, well Ritz tend to make it that way at last, well let's just say To make your opponent amaze, crush them, and then befriend them it's not easy

It's almost guaranteed she'll be part of the team, too relevant not to. And yes, relatable characters has been Shinohayu's strongest point so far, but since this will eventually turn into the pro's story, I doubt realism stays for long.

I wonder if we'll get Hayari's story next. I want her to be more than boobs and a smile(though she's surprisingly flat at this point).

I'm sure we will get Hayari's story next.

The format seems to be like this.

Vol.1 - Shino ch.1-3
Vol.2 - Kanna ch.4-6
Vol.3 - Hayari ch.7-9
Vol.4 - ???

That's why Ritz said they will still in elementary school at vol.4

I'm interested in the direction of Shinohayu after vol.3

Will we get other pro childhood story? or the story will move to tournament part ?

What role will Shino and Kanna play in the plot? Since they won't get to play with other pros we have known or they will become something like "underground boss" who can beat all pro but they don't paticipate in any offical tournament. (That's why we never heard their names in the main series)
