It's kind of like Key meets Seinfeld. At that level, it surprisingly works pretty well. But I'm worried if future "high drama" arcs will suffer from this sense of there being no major overarching plot.
That's actually the major problem VN readers got: past the adaptation issues, the narrative built this way is jarring and disjointed, since they basically shuffle events for no real reason. In fact, things would have gone less random if the overarching baseball arc was kept as the intro common route, so it would supplement the characterization of the cast before having the actual plot.

Which kind of proves my point. Even JC Staff recognizes the redundancy between these three characters, which is why when one takes center stage, the other two just blend in with the entourage.
Actually, it is plainly because they don't know how to balance each other screentime, because their "events" are drastically different.

I didn't expect Kanata of all people to become her roomate. That's interesting development which I hope won't be forgotten.

Best scene of the episode was Anego almost assaulting Kud. I didn't know she swung that way... although it's probably more of a case of Kud's cuteness transcending genders.
This, Kud hit the spot very good this episode on all counts.

Kud is going to get taken home.

BY MEEEEE.

I knew she'd be my favorite the second I saw her.

I don't think that's true....since it came from Kud herself and she obviously looks down on herself.
A dog couldn't possibly be smarter than a human...unless that human was mentally retarded...maybe.

Seconded. Maybe she's actually a genius who skipped a few grades. o_O

Is Kud deeper than just Wafuu and Moe? I think there's something more fundamental than just Wafuu and Moe- they aren't the sole example of her popularity.

Of course she's smarter than the dogs, I was only joking
I found it pretty funny that she seemed to genuinely believe they were smarter than her.

In that particular case, I don't think it's so much a matter of self-esteem -- it was more about her being proud of her dogs, and it was played for laughs.

It is true that she does have a low self-esteem (then again, she compared herself to the most perfect character in the show) but I'm not yet sure that issue is going to be addressed in the anime. It might just be one of her character quirk.

She compared to Kurugaya, which is lol.

Also, Kanata isn't as cruel as we thought, eh? She's just... strict.

Anyone would feel an inferiority complex comparing herself to Kurugaya, after all.

Perhaps the end of the episode hints that Kanata is more complex than just a rabid disciplinarian?

So Kanata is showing her soft side...

Kinda expected her to become a roommate when I saw her playing piano...

Playing piano?? When did that happen?

Edit: It did happen. But that was Kurugaya, not Kanata...

Although we have seen the Innocent Japanophile a few episodes before, Kud steps into the spotlight as she shows her catcher skills to the Little Busters and becomes yet another member of the team. Meanwhile, Kud reveals her wish to be less alone and is helped to get a new roommate. Unfortunately, even the Cool-Headed Battle Maiden Yuiko and the Silent Bookworm Mio were unavailable to help her out.

She ends up at the hands of the Fierce Student Council President, instead.

I still doubt that this "friendly gesture" is actually a sincere one, and she might still be moving based on what the school law dictates. I'll still give Iinchou some room for reconsideration, since Kud will probably be the one who will allow the Little Busters to peek inside Iinchou's heart.

And darn, that Kudogaya scene.

And I forgot the Student Council President's name for two episodes in a row.

Found this episode interesting. Didn't expect 'Fetch' to give Kud great fielding skills. Although I wish they have more group scenes, since Kud saying she was having a great time with the LB! felt out of place with just one scene.

Really starting to like Kurugaya-san. I also expect that Mio will become part of the LB!, since so much attention was given to her.

The Disciplinary Committee head (haven't memorized her name yet) seems to be a nice person, but it kinda feels like she did it just so the two patrol dogs would be nearby so she could do spot checks. And next episode seems random already, though I remember something like that from the first x days I did play.

EDIT: And I really can't tell what age Kud is. Really. x_x

She's one year younger than the rest of the LB Members, aside Kyousuke who is two years older than her.
