The only problem: the possibility that instead of getting a tan, Ika will end up getting getting "dried out".

And that would be significantly less awesome.

Ep 3 was great. Loved Ika trying to do morning excercises

Squidercize was definitely the winner this week, a classic. Starts out funny - just watching the kids do the exercises to that soundtrack with the insipid directions (very true to life, BTW) and then building with Ika trying them out at Lemon with catastrophic results, then laying out the children like bowling pins. A classic.

The other two were fine, nothing special. On balance, things seem slightly less high-spirited and a bit nicer than they did in the first season.

I thought it was all pretty fun. Maybe the first one being the weakest since the walk wasn't as entertaining.

Was hilarious though seeing Ika cause devastation with copying the moves both at the Lemon, but after when she was knocking kids down all over the place.

Last one was a feel good story. Too bad Ika got chewed up on the last bit since there could have been more shards of glass in that area. Nothing funny if the kids slice their feet while heading into the water. But true that Ika is best without any official duties. See some people, save them, problem solved. Some good laughs from that one though like saving the kid from the evil killer whale float .

Just watched episode 3, overall was okay.

The 1st scene with Sanae dog "Alex" was funny, the 2nd with Eiko popping Ika in the face was hilarious, but the last scene was lame and boring

I hope the series doesn't run out of gags.

The show started a week earlier than everything else in the season anyway. It's not that big a deal.

I kind of like the high-spirited version.

Episode was good. Liked the dog part more then the others.

The Decepticons pollute more (for energy and destruction) than the humans though, so Ika would likely have issues with them.

Ika fails at walking the dog.
Ika fails at calisthenics.
Ika fails at lifeguarding...but then succeeds...sorta.

"It's the weird dance that makes you lose MP!"
Ika is such a nerd.

She plays way too many of Eiko's games.

Ika smacking down the kids with her hair/tentacles had me busting a gut. Such silly, straightforward slapstick, but oh-so-amusing.

Sad to hear the news of no Ika for two weeks though.

Ika needs to read Cesar Milan's (aka the Dog Whisperer) book, or watch his videos, me thinks.

It feels like years since they've been updated, btw.

lol the 2nd segement was like watching something outta something like Mr Bean or a Monty Python sketch, hilarious Ika-chan antics at it's best!

It's funny how Ika-chan can make friends soooo easily but also have it all come crashing down just as quickly.
Someday I'm sure she will conquer the world but probably not as she had hoped

That only works if Sanae is willing to change her behavior as well. After all, Cesar's methods are meant more to change the way the owner treats his dog, rather than the other way around. But as long as Sanae can't take her eyes (and hands) off Squid Girl, Alex will not be motivated to change his behavior.

Truth. Any dog owned by a freakshow like Sanae is inevitably going to be seriously messed up.
