what about the N-Jammers you wouldn't be able to use nukes without an N-Jammer canceler if it is Seed based

I wouldn't mind a Gundam MMO, but why does it have to be SEED? The coolest scenario would be a multiverse, where everything from EVERYTHING is used. If the balancing on the unit strength is done right, imagine the Freedom fighting the Devil Gundam, or a huge battle between Zakus and Leos. Personal duels, tournaments, conquest, everything ever used in the Gundam universe would be available. The wide variety would make it interesting to everyone, instead of using just one universe. If you stick exclusively to one universe, like CE, you run the risk of alienating other Gundam fans who like series other than the current popular craze.

An MMORPGesque SEED game would be mediocre - I might elaborate on this later, but a PlanetSide-style game would be alot better suited to this sort of setting.

Then the devs waste time putting in hundreds of different units and 90% of them will be Freedom-spammed, nuke-spammed, or food for a mobile armor. Balance is impossible between all the different Gundam verses unless you want to completely toss out canon information and make people not want to use "that unit". Anything that isn't one of the haxing CE Gundams, an indestructable AC Gundam, or a DBZ comparable G Gundam will be useless.

The only UC Gundams that would even have a chance of inflicting any kind of significant damage are the GP02 and V2. One because it has a fleet killing nuke and the other because it has 5km beam sabers and 20G acceleration.

A SEED only MMO would only work if it didn't include fleet killing Gundams, or maybe if it only included them as NPCs if you must have them.

UC Online works because none of it's units are several orders of magnitude better than the other.

I remember that there used to be a RO pivate server that mod RO to be Gundam MMO, where each town was a chapter of the series. You also get to buy parts from NPC to make your own look, however they used the default skills from RO. I will see if I can find it again, but in the mean time, I will be playing PornRO

sounds interesting though id probably give it a chance for a while. as mentioned before mmorpgs take up lots of time. banking money/resources b4 it can be stolen, alliances, a-holes that go out of their way to annoy you, wars etc etc.

universalcentury.net seems to have ended dec 15 2007 according to wiki.

Wouldn't mind, it would be pretty awesome, as long as the game itself is like Rengou vs ZAFT II Plus or something of that sort.
