Edit: Never mind. I heard those. Too short for me to get a good guess on anyone. Though I do hope they wont be recycling Achiga-hen characters and seiyuu.

Edit2: Yep, unreleased voice samples have been removed. Anyone saved them?

Just listened to the leaked voice samples (on niconico and now even on youtube) and yeah most of them are too short to recognize but...

...Kasumi is Sayaka Oohara, right? At least she sounds very much like her to me.

Really hyped about this one btw. ^^

Esp the final match between Awai, Saki, Shizuku and "Ventere".

Broken or not I really want to see Saki go the height of scariness, win everything and reconcile with Teru. Not that I know that's what will happen, but that's what I hope will happen.

probably won't get to that match this season. Probably season 3 and the venter is the lieutenant.

Why do you say the captain match won't be shown? Has it been announced as such and/or that there will be OVA supplements airing like happened with Achiga Hen?

The finals won't be shown at all by the current pace of the manga, I believe.

That will be the championship round. Right now we haven't even made it to the Lieutenants match in the semi finals.

Ah ha, so at the moment it is mainly based on informed speculations based on past patterns of the anime series mirroring the manga, then?

I was wondering if there was any official announcement for the anime describing what material would be covered, I guess.

As far as finals materials is concerned, it hasn't even been written. Even the semi-finals on Kiyosumi's side of the bracket have not been finished in the manga. Given that it's starting in January, the material that's expected to be covered by (the first season of?) Saki Zenkoku-hen is only Kiyosumi's entry into the Nationals up through the Quarterfinals.

You are to pessimistic. Achiga-hen was unfinished than the anime started but they still covered it all. My bet we would get both quarter and semi-finals or they would make it split-cour(or with additional eps like Achiga) and still cover it all.

I do expect that a second cours will also happen soon to finish up the semi-finals, but it's basically impossible for it to be done in the same airing as the rest of Zenkoku-hen. Maybe it will continue after just a one season break in the summer, but I find it unlikely that Ritz would be able to work that fast. My best guess for the second half of Zenkoku-hen is at best fall.

Someone is forgetting that Achiga, while written by Ritz, was drawn by Igarashi, who averaged on the low end of SIXTY pages per month, and at one point punched out a 90-page chapter. Ritz can barely do 14 pages every two weeks. A second season is undoable for Zenkoku-hen.
