So, noon on Monday at the rate of the thread, even earlier at the rate we've been going the past couple of days.

So that's what happens when Kyonko meets Itsuki...

Oh and I was trying to find this vid again (on nico btw) and I finally did! It's part of the fight scene with Yuuki and Ryou. Theres actually animation! Sorta. I'd say it's pretty good.

You really love algebra do you? Wait does that me my guess of surpassing the image thread in a week is actually coming true? You know... when i said we should increase the average posts per day a couple of days ago I didn't think that we'd actually increase it by 30...

By the way, Anyone objects to me putting both Haruki and Kyonko on the volume 1 seitenkan cover? Cause if there is none, I'm gonna start making it.

I know I'm going to sound either extremely impatient or extremely lazy now, but I've got to ask; how is the colour of Kyonko's bunny girl suit looking right now? If it's been decided already, I've managed to miss it, and if not... Well... Then I guess I'll actually have to do some studying while I wait

I apologise for being this bothersome, asking about it all of the time, but right now it's not only the impatience anymore... It's merely that I can't continue drawing my pic before I know whether the colour will be light, dark or something in between

I'm extremely behind in this thread, due to my work and sadly will be even more. I'll not be at home for more than a month starting April. I'll camp in this thread for my remaining days.

I wanted to draw something sketchy and gar, like TTGL had. Then while reading through the thread, I was reminded of Disappearance and Higurashi.

Sketchiness + GAR + Bad End =

Akio and Sanae came straight to my mind. I visualise the same scene when Haruki finds Kyonko at the bottom of the stairs.

Good thing that isn't Haruki walking in on it. He'd totally kick Itsuki's pretty boy ass six ways from Sunday.

Pretty good. I think the crying might be a bit over the top though (this is when Kyonko fell down the stairs and went into that coma right?) I would think it would take a bit longer than that for Haruki to start crying. He should have a concerned/panicked expression while yelling. He's not the kind that would just start crying when a crisis like this occurred. That's Mitsuru's job.

I mean, even Haruhi wasn't instantly reduced to tears in that situation. I find it hard to believe a Gender bent Haruhi would.

I feel the same, but I wanted to stay as close to the original scene as possible. I specialise in parodies, homages, anime cosplays and such. This particular scene is from Clannad.

If I have time I'll do a edit for a more fitting expression. But now, I must read the thread.

You are right, I failed myself lol. There's no need for a more fitting edit.

Indeed tears may not fit Haruhi-sama, but Haruki is the ultimate gar and manly tears suits him better than no one else.

I should probably mention that the first time I saw the phrase "manly tears" used, it was in a discussion about Dan Hibiki. Yes, that Dan Hibiki.

This could be one reason why I cannot seem to take all this talk of "GAR" very seriously, since it always brings to mind a guy in a pink gi.

What GAR brings to mind for me is Captain Falcon, but I still do get all the Kamina and Simon.

Specifically...PINK Captain Falcon.

Or maybe that's because I think the pink costumes are funny.

Real men wear pink. >_> Proof: Kirby's pink. Kirby is also the manliest marshmellow puff in the world. Therefore, pink = manliness!

Looking through here, all I gotta say is that THE CRACK MUST FLOW.

Exactly. He's over-the-top awesome. Like Anime Tenchou.

Also, RmX, wouldn't giving Haruki that fang make him a bit too much like Tsuruya?

Or are we giving Tsuruya two fangs like someone suggested?

(Not that it matters for the novels... the fang and the resultant lisp don't exist in them.)

Fang-kun gets the fang, I'd say, just to keep with the series.

Edit: And two fangs would make Fang-kun look less whimsical and more vampiric.

Edit 2: NOOOO! NOT THE DRUGS!

He doesn't really have a prominent tooth, it's just an accentuation on his canines. Just for the ferocity effect.

Tsuruya's still the one with the true fang.
