I didn't think girls would worry about boob size in a timeline and environment like this one, pretty funny conversation afterwards between Montmorency & Astaroth.

La Hire's cute reactions to Astaroth are surprising but funny at the same time.

This is the episode I was waiting for, now we know how Jeanne become badass killing machine, well for at least 3 minutes, either way she got the job done and chased the soldiers away.

Next episode looks very interesting.

Yeah, we know it was boring, but let me just say a few things...

1. Oh, the fairy is Kugimiya? Oh, well, yeah, costs too much, so you need to kill her off quickly

2. A misunderstanding that bad script writers have, but just because you randomly kill off characters does not make an emotional scene. We not only know nothing about the fairies, but they literally committed suicide.
Boo-hoo.

3. Oh cool, pseudo-sex scene!

4. Was there any need to make that red-haired a lesbian? You have this serious (supposedly) scene and you suddenly get inserts of "Ooh, cute girl" or "I hate big breasts! Me kill!"

5. Apparently the villagers can take a look at her and see that she is a demon now.
...Uh-huh. She frankly looks normal enough, at least human, and the whole "Now the whole world will hunt her and she cannot stay anywhere" thing is not convincing.
How about you make her sprout demon horns or something?

6. I'm not sure that type of gun in this time period can shoot rapidly like that.

7. That soldier's voice was funny.

There is one thing i really dislike about this show is how they portray the weapon and equipment used by soldier from both side , which is totally wrong .

I know this is a fantasy series , but there was an anime which also about the 100 years war and have fantasy elements but got it right on how people fought and what kind of equipment they used .

You know after watching the OP again i think the NTR is going to happen at the end of the season, you can also see Montmorency looking at fire burning and crying which probably means Jehanne gets burned alive. Even the old man in episode one said "if you go down this path you will be all alone", if i was a betting man i would say this show is going to be extremely dark going forward.

I have only one complain about this anime. Everything is trash. Only thing that made second episode someohow bearable were tights of
10 cm tall flying tsundere.

I heard in the novel it was a ruse or something .
