Yeah. And I seriously don't want him to get more powerful anymore. Pretty much as it is, I'll use the GuardianS transition of events and just give him the prototype H.A.V.A. Type X-555 Heavy Assault device. Nowhere near as HAXX as the original design for Tyrfing. I'll call that device 'Orphenoch'.

I'll eliminate the gun mode and the Fusion core and just add some functions for improved mana conversion. And maybe a full drive if I can do it. For the currrent plans, his first device before being a protagionist, Gottes Racher is just a longsword with no other froms than it's Full Drive, which is still just a sword.

Nothing too impossible. Templars' abilities to disrupt Elements in the body can be severe pain. If they choose to use it, that is. Then again, Barrier Jackets and platings impede them from doing so in the first place.

Actually, I think Hayate's ability for friendship comes from her kind heart, which is good. It tones down a lot on the "magic damage" part.

No, Sharazad doesn't cause drowning by saturating the air with water. What the saturation does is make it more difficult to breathe (by displacing oxygen with water molecules) and raising the humidity of the area until it's stuffy, which cause the victims to suffocate and faint ("sleep" ). Of course, she always does this only in confined spaces, such as in offices and laboratories, which is why it's impossible to do it outdoors.

Compared to other mages, Ivanovich's spell list is quite short, with his biggest spell being roughly equivalent to Divine Buster. As Harvest takes the form of a rifle, almost all of Ivanovich's spells are ranged attacks. Unlike Nanoha, however, he focuses on highly accurate, tightly targeted attacks - very similar to Vice. Unlike Nanoha or Fate, Ivanovich uses 12-cartridge magazines for Harvest, and carries many spare mags with him.

Attack Spells:
Variable Shot: Ivanovich uses the power of two cartridges to form a barrier around a magical bullet, allowing it to penetrate Gadget Drone AMF. Harvest is capable of focusing and forming the barrier and bullet without operator input. (AA-rank, 2 cartridges)

Heatseeker Twins: Ivanovich fires a pair of heatseeking shots that home in on their target. This attack launches magical projectiles with attack power of B, AA speed and A+ homing ability. (AA-rank, 2 cartridges)

Blaze Cannon: Copying one of the standard spells used by Enforcers, Ivanovich uses this fire-based spell in like manner to a flamethrower, producing a jet of fire that shoots out forward. By adjusting the input power, he can control the strength, intensity, and range of the stream. (B to AA-rank; uses no cartridges at B, 1 cartridge at A, 2 at AA. Strength adjustible.)

Barrett Shot: Ivanovich's version of Barrett Shot is almost identical to the standard version in use, except that Harvest fires 3 shots per cartridge instead of 4, giving a slight increase in power to each shot while reducing the volume of fire by 25%. Once Barrett Shot is active, all Ivanovich needs to do is to pull the trigger, until he runs out of cartridges.

Autumn Pillar: Ivanovich's answer to bombardment spells. This spell manages to hit AAA rank using 4 cartridges and fires a concentrated beam at the target. The beam is of comparable power to Divine Buster Extension, but with a smaller "caliber", and concentrates magical energy into penetration power and range. (AAA-rank, 4 cartridges. Similar power to A's Divine Buster Extension, but with more range and lesser kinetic impact.)

Shock Bolter: Modified from Franz's Blitz Bolter, Ivanovich uses this spell in hand to hand combat. It is essentially the same spell, sans lightning element.

Defensive Spells:
Barrier Jacket: Standard OFM Assault Platoon Barrier Jacket, resembling ODST armor.

Protection: Standard Barrier-type spell.

Round Shield: Standard Shield-type spell.

Jacket Purge: Following the principles of Reactive Armor, Ivanovich can detonate the outer layers of his Barrier Jacket as a defence, revealing the battledress fatigues he wears below.

Other Spells:
Flier Fin: Like Nanoha's original Flier Fin, but with less manuverability. If Nanaha's manuverability is that of a RAH-66 Comanche, Ivanovich's manuverability is like a CH-46 Sea Knight.

Chain Bind: As with Yuuno's version.

Flash Move: Speeds up Ivanovich, typically used in dodging or to tackle escaping targets.

Quite. Price's execution of Al-Asad took me by surprise, even though it would be what an SAS operative would do.

that intent is real for me at least, you can't chose my career path and not ask yourself if you could really kill other people and I can safely say that yes I can and might well have too.

One might say that if you don't want to kill, you shouldn't join the Army. So, what's your planned MOS? Infantry? Armor? Special Forces?

A well done one on one Duels is cool, they're stupid, but they are cool you can't deny that.

That might be what Nanoha is all about: cool fights...

I'd disagree this is more like an attack helicopter and the problem with those is they tend to have to get close enough for the targets to shot back which complicates matters. I've always consider mages less aircraft and more highly mobile helicopters.

I was basically thinking the same thing. I'm pretty sure the TSAB looks down on mages throwing around powerful spells wily-nily in population centers. It's then a race between time for the ground team to evade her and her Wide Area Search while setting up their ambush, while dealing with the Forwards, all at the same time.

An unassuming and simple ranch bungalow, dark and seemingly unoccupied, its appearance illuminated only by the nearby streetlamp.

Inside that house, that light was all Gwen required, sitting by the edge of her humble bed in her small, silent room, watching the rain continue to pour outside...

A soft sniffle broke the silence, and her attention was captured by her charge, her young friend whose head laid on her lap. The girl with silky long black hair, and her soft, sleeping face, with an almost angelic expression, seemingly unknown to the worries of this world.

Except for the stain of tears that ran down her cheeks.

Another sniffle and Gwen responded with a slow, gentle stroke of her petite hands through the girl’s hair.

Even in sleep, the pain still lingered.

And Gwen’s empathies found it unbearably difficult to witness.

To see Mai so hurt, so miserable, so broken, to see one of her dearest friend’s anguish to this degree. A tortured soul who can only shed her agonies through her warm, salty tears.

Her heart suffered as much as Mai’s suffered. And Mai’s pain was her own as well.

A burden she gladly carried, a pain she suffered unconditionally, if this was required of her to ease her friend’s distress, no matter how seemingly fruitless or futile.

For if there was one thing she could not stand to see exist in this world, it was pain in a friend’s soul.

Especially pain caused by the acts of another.

“… Remi no… baka…” Mai murmured. Slowly, sadly, the subconscious revelation of a sad girl unconscious.

“I know.” Gwen replied softly, even though her words would not reach their intended recipient. Words that hung in the cool, damp air, claiming the silence for herself, as she thought about certain coincidences.

It was a good thing Gwen had been here when she did, called back here to Midchilda by an anonymous note, she had been preparing herself for what was presumably another mission by her employers. Pending their forthcoming orders, she had made herself comfortable here.

No, this place was already that, here in this small ranch bungalow along Pine Street, one of many such similar houses along this street, a common bungalow amongst uncountable others like it. And yet for her, this place was most than just a run-of-the-mill house.

Once, this was home.

This was a most familiar place to her; for three years she had lived here along with the other significant people in her life – her sisters by fate, Iris, Natalia and Ashelyn, and other companions from her current employers, most notably Cyrille. This simple house was a shelter from the turmoil and stress of the missions they undertook, the assignments they endured. It was an oasis of souls, where their bodies found rest, and their minds eased of all their troubles and worries. Amidst the confusion and uncertainty, here in this humble refuge did all of them find the most valuable, yet most fleeting of all human needs: Peace.

Here in this house, they were neither mere experiments nor employers. Neither weapons, nor servants to a higher power.

They were themselves. They were friends. They were sisters.

Most of all, they were family.

Though they no longer resided under its roof, the safehouse was still there, available, with its doors ever willing to provide them a shelter when in need.

All of them. Including Mai.

‘I wanted to see you.’

She recalled Mai’s words as she comforted her on the alleyway under the pouring rain, holding her by those cold shoulders, leading her destitute heart into refuge.

Gwen could not imagine what would’ve happened to Mai had she not been there. Had she not been here in this circumstance, walking out in the rain to grab some supplies for her own extended stay. Would Mai have been left alone, drenched in the cold, bitter rain, waiting for solace that would never come? A soul abandoned in the wet asphalt alley, consumed by the emptiness of the night? Cowering in anguish and despair?

None of that mattered now. She could only be glad that fate had not dealt them a more severe hand.

She was here, here for the weeping girl on her lap, the anguished soul of a sister in need.

In need of care, in need of protection. In need of counsel, and in need of-

*Brrrrrrrrrr*

- Nourishment.

The young redhead could only manage a wan smile at her hungry charge, as she gently lifted Mai’s head off her lap and unto a pillow, lest she disturb the young maiden’s sleep.

She softly stroked her friend’s hair once again.

“I won’t take long Mai.” She whispered in her ear.

And left her with a kiss on the forehead for reassurance.

“I’ll be right back.”

Touching. Added with the fact that it's raining outside here, I felt I wanted to cry for Mai.

This story deserves a 5 out of 5.

Background:

Birth & Childhood:
Rinya was born on Vedir into the Shuri family of the A’Kalash tribe.
Vedir was a world covered with wide windy canyons; most of them so deep that the sunlight never reaches the bottom, thus making the Vedirians live on top of the many plateaus. It was through this planet surface that the Vedirian tribes developed a unique culture where aviation is the main way of movement and transport. So Rinya was born with the blood of aviators.

Ever since she could remember, she had always dreamt of flying. Her father, the owner and pilot of a small air-cargo freight business, trained her in flying cargo gliders so that she could later work with him and carry on the family business some day.

At the age of ten, she went to a TSAB flight show with her family. The first moment she saw the aerial mages, she knew that she wanted to fly like them in the sky, without a glider or plane.
Her father didn’t like her sudden decision and ordered her to stop the stupid thinking at once. Rinya of course, did not.

Since then, the tension within the family never vanished and at the age of twelve she left her home and joined the TSAB.

In service:
Influenced by the traditions of her home world, which reached back to ancient Belka, she chose the Belkan style of magic, even if it wasn't the best choice for someone who wanted to become an aerial mage. But, with passion and hardwork, she succeeded to enter aerial training.

While she was normally good at teamwork, the somewhat reckless nature of her attacks made it difficult for her to adapt to the ways the aerial mages fought, and she nearly dropped out of aerial training. To her luck, an instructor saw the potential of her being more of a melee attacker than a ranged combat mage. Rinya was given an instructor that taught her the fighting style of a Belka Ritter, and, considering the history of her homeworld, she was given her own Device that was created after a traditional Vedirian aerial melee weapon.

Thanks to this, Rinya was able to graduate from the training school as one of the top ranking students, as an A-ranked aerial mage.

Dragonfly:
After graduation, Rinya was assigned to the Air Armaments Service Squadron "Dragonfly", an experienced battle squadron that handled patrol and rescue missions.

Rinya's first big mission was when Dragonfly helped other units in the search for a Class-1 criminal that was detected in Central Midchilda.

Dragonfly found the fugitive, but, Rinya, who was the most inexperienced, was the first to be wounded in battle and was ordered to retreat at once. She later discovered that Dragonfly was totally wiped out.
Rinya wanted to return to battle immediately, but, for her condition, was ordered to stay behind. While she was being treated at the first-aid station, the criminal was captured.

Road to Officer:
As the only survivor of Dragonfly, Rinya was sent on leave and she visited her family on Vedir, but the still-existing tension between her and her father made her return to Midchilda quickly.
Back in service, she supported other aerial squadrons on different missions.

It was the JS incident that brought her to the attention of her superiors.
During the battle against the Saint's Cradle, Rinya was flying around the battlefield, supporting other units and engaging Drones in direct combat.
Through her bravery and quick-thinking on the field, she was promoted to 2nd Lieutenant and was sent to an Officer's course, her official rank now determined as AA.

Personality:
Rinya is a bright and energetic person that some people would even call her reckless.
She can be very proud and stubborn sometimes, but this is only to hide her true feelings when she is insecure.
Rinya loves flying and is very glad she joined TSAB because of it. She still thinks very fondly of her old home, even though she is not on good terms with her father.
She also tries to see the good in people first.

Windlanze
Windlanze (Wind Lance) is a device crafted after a Vedirian wind-rider's lance.
In ancient Belka, these traditional weapons were used by Vedirian knights in aerial battles and air jousting.
Swung in fast flight, the lance could deal massive damage on impact to its target.
Windlanze is additionally equipped with a second form and a Belkan cartridge system.

Modes:
Klingenform (Blade Form):
Windlanze’s standard form is a short spear with a long blade.

Zwillingsklingenform (Twin Blade Form):
A second blade appears on the other side of the now-shortened hilt. This form is used when battling more opponents at once.

Knight Armour:
Rinyas Knight Armour is a green and white bodysuit. Armour parts cover the upper torso, shoulders, forearms, knees and feet. The Knight Armour is designed to prefer mobility over protection.

Sturmschild (Storm Shield):
Shield spell in form of a triangle.

Windtanz (Wind Dance)
A spell that increases the casters speed and allows almost instantaneous movement.

Offensive Spells:

Luftmesser (Air Knife):
A spell that is using magic to compress and accelerate the air around the device. It enables the caster to create blades of wind and throw them at the target.

Windschnitter (Wind Reaper):
A more powerful version of Luftmesser.
This spell needs a cartridge to be activated.

Sturmangriff (Assault):
A spell that uses Windtanz as base.
Magical energy is infused into the blade of the device enhancing its ability to penetrate shields and armour. The caster is then boosted forward, allowing him a single strike with the enhanced blade.
This spell needs two cartridges to be activated.

CHAPTER 4

He opened his eyes. “Oh, I’m back at the hall,” he murmured and looked around him. “But who are these people? And why they look like knights or something?” It took the street performer a few seconds before he realized the murderous glare of a scar-riddled knight and feigned unconsciousness “I didn’t see it… I didn’t see it… I didn’t see it…”

“Reiher! Give him CPR!”

One of the people appeared behind the armoured knight. “Yes, sir!”

The dark-skinned, Afro knight did what he was told. Matilda and female Belkan knights blushed at the yaoi-bait scene. Freya and Aura were appalled. Keiko had to turn away in embarrassment.

Yutaro snapped. He kicked the Afro knight out of the way. “What… what the hell was that for?!” he screamed, hoarsely gasping for air.

“Sir! It appears this boy is alright,” the Afro knight reported.

Yutaro had recovered from the frightening experience and sat on the floor. “What the hell is really going on?” he demanded. “Who are these people, anyway?”

“Brat! You don’t know who you’re dealing with!” one of the foreign knights snarled.

“You dare questioning the Von Dietrich Clan,” his friend added and withdrew a dagger. “Shall I cut your tongue into pieces?”

A woman coughed, and immediately the two hostile knights retreated to their spot. “My apology for the complicated matters we caused,” the woman spoke. “Pleased to meet you, Wakamoto Yutaro. I am Katrina von Dietrich, and this is my husband Kaiser Erick von Dietrich, Chairperson of the von Dietrich Clan.”

Yutaro turned to the said Chairperson. Mr. Von Dietrich immediately shot him a murderous sight. “Knight? He’s more like a Yakuza to me!” Yutaro gulped.

“And the man who performed the CPR to you just now is Reiher,” Mrs. Von Dietrich continued. “Don’t worry. He just wanted to save your life.”

“It is my honour,” Reiher spoke, his Ray-Ban mysteriously sparkled.

Matilda and female Belkan knights sighed. “Reiher-san…”

“Excuse me for interrupting,” Keiko spoke. “But why is the Von Dietrich Clan suddenly here? As far as I am concerned, the last time the Belkan Knights and the Von Dietrich ever came to contact was 225 years ago during the Miranda Confrontation.”

“That is correct,” Mrs. von Dietrich replied. “We’re here for family business, actually. It appeared one of our family members had faced a very serious incident.”

“We are the honoured dragon clan,” Mr. Von Dietrich spoke. “We are strictly forbidden from revealing our true form to regular people whatever the reasons we have to face.”

“Dragon clan? So you can transform into a dragon?” Matilda asked.

“Dragon?” Yutaro remembered the time he saw Freya’s unknown form. He twitched. “Crap! Does this mean…”

Mr. von Dietrich’s reply was to withdraw his Zweihander and aimed it at Yutaro’s neck. “This brat saw my cute Freya’s identity, and he is not supposed to see it! How dare he… how dare he do THIS and THAT to my cute Freya while I wasn’t around!”

“Kaiser Erick, please calm down!” Reiher pleaded and strangled Mr. von Dietrich.

“We fiercely protect this secret for generations from the lineage of our ancestor Daniel the Great,” Mrs. Von Dietrich spoke. “The law of Von Dietrich states that anyone from this family who exposes his or her true identity to the society will be sentenced to death. I am sure Miss Galatea has explained it to all of you.”

“It’s fortunate that the Knights of Yellow Rose had agreed to keep this matter secret from the public,” Galatea spoke. “Things would have turned to worse if the people get their hands on this incident.”

“I object! Freya did that to save Yutaro’s life! What would you do if you faced the same situation as her?” Poseidon snarled.

“Then Yutaro will have to be executed as well,” Mrs. Von Dietrich said. “The secret of the dragon clan cannot and shall not be revealed to the world whatever the consequences this family have to face.”

“No way…” Poseidon chided.

“I hate to agree, but this is the law we have to abide,” Mr. Von Dietrich continued and again turned to the frightened Yutaro. “But not before I slay the brat into pieces!” he roared and tried killing the boy before Reiher strangled him.

Mrs. Von Dietrich later grinned. “But of course, we can spare his life if he agrees to become a member of this house,” she said.

“What does that suppose to mean?” Matilda said.

Mrs. Von Dietrich pointed to the ceiling. “Yutaro will have to marry Freya.”

The suggestion sent a very deep shock into everybody in the hall. Yutaro, especially, found himself shaking uncontrollably due to the suggestion. “No freaking way!”

“Married? My cute Freya marries that useless piece of flesh?” Mr. Von Dietrich growled and plunged the Zweihander into the floor. “He must step over my dead body first! Nobody is allowed to marry my cute Freya until I say he can!”

“But dear, he already knew her identity,” Mrs. Von Dietrich spoke. “If he doesn’t want to die, then he has to become her groom.”

“Never! I’ll only say yes when I SAY yes!” Mr. Von Dietrich replied.

“Papa!”

Everybody turned to Freya. “If you refuse to bless our relationship,” she said and suddenly fell onto her back. “Then just execute me!”

“But Freya, you can’t live with that maggot!” Mr. Von Dietrich replied.

“This is my life! I’m the one who decides it! Not anyone! Not even Papa!” Freya replied.

“Oneechan is right!” along came Aura’s voice as she, too, lay next to Freya. “If she has to die, then let me die with her!”

Mrs. Von Dietrich sighed. “Look at that. Father and his twin daughters. Always refuse to accept each other’s difference,” she said.

Poseidon nodded. “They’re twins, after all.”

“Freya…” Yutaro murmured.

Mr. Von Dietrich trembled. “If that bastard wants to marry my cute Freya,” he murmured and pulled out the Zweihander, “then he must prepare to accept his death! My brethrens!”

The von Dietrich knights transformed into dragons. “ROAR!!!!”

Yutaro fled the people but was stopped in the middle of the way by a dagger tossed by Reiher. He turned to the Afro knight, and was horrified as the person sported a smile that was as calm as it was threatening. “I might not know your affair with Meister Freya, but you must accept the suggestion or face the consequences,” he spoke.

Matilda and female Belkan knights sighed. “Reiher-san…”

“I don’t have time to answer the question!” Yutaro took a detour but was ambushed by an oversized salt-water crocodile when he approached the door. “A crocodile!!!????”

“THANK YOU FOR THE MEAL!!!!” Draco Tsukihiro cheered and pounced at Yutaro, but its tackle missed when the boy dodged. “Shit. When I thought I could have my free meal right now…”

“How can a crocodile become a dragon clan member?!” Yutaro asked.

“Should I tell you the answer?” Draco Tsukihiro asked in sly voice and again pounced at Yutaro. “Do not run away! I will eat you piece by piece!”

Poseidon kicked Draco Tsukihiro to the wall with a roundhouse. “A beast’s worthy opponent is a beast,” the white tiger spoke and opened a kung-fu stance. “Yutaro, go. I’ll cover you.”

“I owe you one, Poseidon-san!”

Yutaro left Poseidon with the pissed Draco Tsukihiro and faced Mr. Von Dietrich. “Can we have a peaceful discussion?” he asked, and was forced to dodge the Zweihander when the Kaiser refused. “I thought this is a democratic government!!”

“Hold it right there.”

The mayhem stopped. Mr. Von Dietrich and his followers looked to the front and saw Frieda standing at the entrance door. “May I know what is going on, everybody?” she asked and corrected her eyeglasses.

“Okaasan!” Freya and Aura gasped.

“Miss Frieda, help!” Yutaro left the chaos and hurled towards Frieda. “You have to help me! These people are going to kill me!”

“I heard you’re going to marry Freya,” Frieda said. “Well, why hadn’t you told me of your feeling towards her before?”

“Why in a sudden you ask me that?!” Yutaro wailed and flailed his arms.

“Who the hell are you, bitch?!” one of the dragon-men snarled.

The Gunslinger Knight turned to the people. “I’m the Gemini Sisters’ custodian,” Frieda replied and withdrew Beowulf. “Frieda Johansen. I’m also their surrogate mother. Pleased to meet you.”

“Then we’ll have to kill you as well!” The dragon-men charged at the Gunslinger Knights when bullets suddenly knocked their swords off their hands. “What the hell is that?”

“Touch Miss Frieda and die,” along came Takeru’s voice as he appeared behind Frieda (clinging onto his back was a timid-looking Yumemi). He withdrew Schwarz Todd, loaded the dual handguns and opened a Gun Kata stance. “So, shall we dance?”

“I thought the Belkan Knights and the von Dietrich clan are at peace!” Matilda spoke as the von Dietrich knights and the Belkan knights fought each other.

“This has nothing to do with peace!” Mr. von Dietrich howled and swung the Zweihander at Yutaro’s head -- again, it missed. “This is family business!”

Mrs. Von Dietrich sighed. “Men…” She left her sitting spot and approached Frieda. “Ms. Johansen,” she said and bowed to her. “We must thank you for taking care of our twin daughters along our absence. We owe you a lot for your deeds.”

“It doesn’t matter,” Frieda said with a smile. “I have long considered them as my beloved daughters.” She later took off the eyeglasses and bowed to Mrs. Von Dietrich. “Now, if you excuse me.”

Frieda left the smiling mother behind and jumped at Mr. Von Dietrich who was blindingly attacking Yutaro. “Aura! Freya! Take Yutaro out of here!” she shouted as she blocked the Kaiser’s Zweihander.

“Got it, Okaasan!” the Gemini Sisters replied and seized Yutaro’s hand. “Yutaro, follow us!”

Galatea and Sao decided to stay neutral throughout the frantic brawl (and let Takeru’s little sister and Keiko join them). “What is your next plan, Master?” Sao asked.

“What if we follow Yutaro and ask him more questions on… his feelings?” Galatea suggested. “Sao, provide escape route.”

“Yes, Master.”

Sao transformed into an Oxtongue Rifle and was caught by Galatea who, then, fired an energy beam onto the wall. She holstered the weapon over shoulder and sported a grin. “So, who wants to follow me?”

The escapees landed on the lakeside. Yutaro fell onto his butt as the Gemini Sisters let go off him. Freya and Aura landed on a piece of boulder and sat on it. They were still in their dragon-girl form, and Yutaro could not help asking himself if this was the reason their family objected their relationship.

“That was so close…” he gasped. “Thank god father isn’t here…”

The twin sisters suddenly blushed. “Father?”

Yutaro laughed. “No, no! I mean I was fortunate my father isn’t here, or he’d kill me,” he answered. “That reminds me. If that meeting can be thought as a reunion, then why aren’t you happy to see your parents?”

“Sou…” Freya threw their sight into the evening sky, as she returned to her normal form. Suddenly, and mysteriously, a Japanese classical song played in the background, and cherry blossom petals materialized in thin air. “We cherish our freedom, and we want to enjoy our life as much as we can. Papa has been strict at deciding our path of life, and he doesn’t believe in one’s freedom.”

“Freya…”

Aura took her twin sister’s hand. “This is the path we have agreed to take since we joined the School,” she spoke. “If Papa doesn’t agree with us, then we’ll fight for it. Even though our life is at stake.”

The sky suddenly trembled. Yutaro looked up and saw a giant wyvern soaring above them. “I get a bad feeling about this…”

“Papa!” the Gemini Sisters gasped.

Mr. Von Dietrich jumped off the wyvern and landed in front of Yutaro. “Finally found you, maggot…” he spoke and withdrew the Zweihander. “Took me a long time to outsmart the gunslinger knight, but I finally got away.”

“We thought Okaasan is unbeaten!” the Gemini Sisters protested.

By now, Frieda, Takeru, the Knights of Yellow Rose, Reiher, Galatea, Sao, Mrs. Von Dietrich and everybody else arrived. They had ended the brawl without losses on both sides, but found themselves too late to stop Mr. Von Dietrich’s execution.

“He’s one tough opponent, I must admit,” Frieda spoke.

“Dear! Can you ever stop for a while and spare the boy?” Mrs. Von Dietrich asked.

Mr. Von Dietrich seemed to ignore his wife’s advice and was equipping the Zweihander with cartridges. “I hope you have prepared your last will, maggot,” he spoke. “Do you have anything to say before I send you to the afterlife?”

“Can we… have a negotiation for a while?” Yutaro suggested.

“Stay still. I’m going to cut you into pieces…” Mr. Von Dietrich spoke, his eyes shooting blood.

“Dear!” Mrs. Von Dietrich shouted.

“Papa!” Aura cried out.

“Yutaro!” Freya screamed.

Yutaro was desperate. He needed to do something. He knew he was not at fault. He knew he had to make things clear.

And Mr. Von Dietrich had lifted the Zweihander high over his head.

There’s only one final option.

“Father-in-law!”

Yutaro knelt before the Kaiser and slammed the rock-hard ground with his bare palms. “Please give your daughter to me!”

Freya was startled. Aura gasped. Galatea batted an impressed eyebrow. Mrs. Von Dietrich smiled. Matilda clapped her hands. Keiko sighed in relief. Takeru nodded. Frieda chuckled. Poseidon tossed a victorious fist.

“If you want the secret to be safe, then let me become a part of your family!” Yutaro added and bowed to Mr. Von Dietrich. “So… so… SO PLEASE BLESS OUR MARRIAGE, FATHER-IN-LAW!”

“You… you…” Mr. Von Dietrich dropped the Zweihander, grabbed Yutaro’s collar and threw him into the lake. “JUST GO TO HELL AND DIE!!!!”

“I thought this is the best option!” Yutaro yelled as he fell into the lake.

“Yutaro!” Freya transformed into dragon-girl and jumped into the lake to save him.

Galatea wrote down something in the notepad. “Wakamoto Yutaro. Today, he declared he would accept Mrs. Von Dietrich’s offer and became a member of the clan. This automatically earns him the right to marry Freya and become her groom.”

She smiled. “This is relevant to my interest.”

This turns out be a quite interesting soap drama. and I can already imagine the real Yutaro's attempt to dry Freya's legs.

The hunt had begun.

The Riot Force 6 and the 21st Unit were exploring every inch of the capital city for clues of the Gale Whistler. The Phantom Squad and the 82nd Division also joined force, as well as the Linebackers. It was a race that would pit them against time and the unforgiving reality of the world.

“Did you find anything?”

Nanoha shook her head. “It’s still early. I can’t say anything about it.”

The Ace quartet continued their search around the boulevard. “Don’t you think it’s weird, Nanoha-chan?” Hayate asked as she picked up a piece of metal debris. “A Lost Logia belonged to a king, a boy said to be a Chronomancer, and a lost civilization serving as a planet’s protector? This is far more complicated than the Relics' case.”

“I’m more curious of this place,” Keroko said and looked around. “Did anyone of us realize this city had used to be a battlefield?”

“How can you tell?” Fate asked. “There has been no recorded battle on Earth for four years.”

The Aces continued searching. This time, they headed to the mausoleum, walking past people who paid them no attention. The chill began biting them; did the citizens deliberately ignore them?

“[Have you found any clues, Nanoha-san?]”

“We’re heading to the cemetery,” Nanoha responded to Yuuno’s radio call.

“[The cemetery? Hang on. We have latest information about the Gale Whistler’s girlfriend. I’ll let Armstrong-san explain.]”

“Girlfriend?”

“[This is Armstrong. The name of the girl is Yuu. She perished while protecting the Gale Whistler from his berserk sister. She was buried along with thousands of citizens who died in the Battles of Kiev.]”

“No wonder why there aren’t any visitors here,” Hayate spoke. “This place brings them painful memories.”

“[According to documents we recovered, the Gale Whistler had used his Chronograph power three times. The energy reading taken by our agents during the event showed it exceeded all expectations.]”

“Hold on! You can’t be this serious, Ojiichan. How can we be so sure he’s more powerful than anyone of us?”

“[Keroko, the boy is stronger than anybody else for one sole reason: his father was an Immortal. Added with his Chronograph circuit and his years of experience as a street combatant, he’s not to be taken lightly.]”

“Immortal… that doesn’t sound good, does it?”

“Where can we find him anyway, Ojiichan?”

“[We’ll search this city first. If there’s no trace of the Gale Whistler, then we’ll proceed to another location.]” The Aces did not answer the transmission. “[Ladies? What’s the matter?]”

“Someone’s visiting the grave. We’ll speak to you later.” Nanoha approached the lone person the four women saw, who was at the time putting a flower bouquet on the tombstone. “Excuse me.”

The person turned to Nanoha, revealing a pair of radiant sapphire eyes that had the sparks of acceptance. “Haii?”

Nanoha was startled. “You’re Japanese.”

The person nodded. “Haii.”

I assumed while writing this first part that everybody's available after StrikerS, unless they have other plans.

Compared to other mages, Ivanovich's spell list is quite short, with his biggest spell being roughly equivalent to Divine Buster. As Harvest takes the form of a rifle, almost all of Ivanovich's spells are ranged attacks. Unlike Nanoha, however, he focuses on highly accurate, tightly targeted attacks - very similar to Vice. Unlike Nanoha or Fate, Ivanovich uses 12-cartridge magazines for Harvest, and carries many spare mags with him.

Attack Spells:
Variable Shot: Ivanovich uses the power of two cartridges to form a barrier around a magical bullet, allowing it to penetrate Gadget Drone AMF. Harvest is capable of focusing and forming the barrier and bullet without operator input. (AA-rank, 2 cartridges)

Heatseeker Twins: Ivanovich fires a pair of heatseeking shots that home in on their target. This attack launches magical projectiles with attack power of B, AA speed and A+ homing ability. (AA-rank, 2 cartridges)

Blaze Cannon: Copying one of the standard spells used by Enforcers, Ivanovich uses this fire-based spell in like manner to a flamethrower, producing a jet of fire that shoots out forward. By adjusting the input power, he can control the strength, intensity, and range of the stream. (B to AA-rank; uses no cartridges at B, 1 cartridge at A, 2 at AA. Strength adjustible.)

Barrett Shot: Ivanovich's version of Barrett Shot is almost identical to the standard version in use, except that Harvest fires 3 shots per cartridge instead of 4, giving a slight increase in power to each shot while reducing the volume of fire by 25%. Once Barrett Shot is active, all Ivanovich needs to do is to pull the trigger, until he runs out of cartridges.

Autumn Pillar: Ivanovich's answer to bombardment spells. This spell manages to hit AAA rank using 4 cartridges and fires a concentrated beam at the target. The beam is of comparable power to Divine Buster Extension, but with a smaller "caliber", and concentrates magical energy into penetration power and range. (AAA-rank, 4 cartridges. Similar power to A's Divine Buster Extension, but with more range and lesser kinetic impact.)

Shock Bolter: Modified from Franz's Blitz Bolter, Ivanovich uses this spell in hand to hand combat. It is essentially the same spell, sans lightning element.

Defensive Spells:
Barrier Jacket: Standard OFM Assault Platoon Barrier Jacket, resembling ODST armor.

Protection: Standard Barrier-type spell.

He opened his eyes. “Oh, I’m back at the hall,” he murmured and looked around him. “But who are these people? And why they look like knights or something?” It took the street performer a few seconds before he realized the murderous glare of a scar-riddled knight and feigned unconsciousness “I didn’t see it… I didn’t see it… I didn’t see it…”

“Reiher! Give him CPR!”

One of the people appeared behind the armoured knight. “Yes, sir!”

The dark-skinned, Afro knight did what he was told. Matilda and female Belkan knights blushed at the yaoi-bait scene. Freya and Aura were appalled. Keiko had to turn away in embarrassment.

Yutaro snapped. He kicked the Afro knight out of the way. “What… what the hell was that for?!” he screamed, hoarsely gasping for air.

“Sir! It appears this boy is alright,” the Afro knight reported.

Yutaro had recovered from the frightening experience and sat on the floor. “What the hell is really going on?” he demanded. “Who are these people, anyway?”

“Brat! You don’t know who you’re dealing with!” one of the foreign knights snarled.

“You dare questioning the Von Dietrich Clan,” his friend added and withdrew a dagger. “Shall I cut your tongue into pieces?”

A woman coughed, and immediately the two hostile knights retreated to their spot. “My apology for the complicated matters we caused,” the woman spoke. “Pleased to meet you, Wakamoto Yutaro. I am Katrina von Dietrich, and this is my husband Kaiser Erick von Dietrich, Chairperson of the von Dietrich Clan.”

Yutaro turned to the said Chairperson. Mr. Von Dietrich immediately shot him a murderous sight. “Knight? He’s more like a Yakuza to me!” Yutaro gulped.

“And the man who performed the CPR to you just now is Reiher,” Mrs. Von Dietrich continued. “Don’t worry. He just wanted to save your life.”

“It is my honour,” Reiher spoke, his Ray-Ban mysteriously sparkled.

Matilda and female Belkan knights sighed. “Reiher-san…”

“Excuse me for interrupting,” Keiko spoke. “But why is the Von Dietrich Clan suddenly here? As far as I am concerned, the last time the Belkan Knights and the Von Dietrich ever came to contact was 225 years ago during the Miranda Confrontation.”

“That is correct,” Mrs. von Dietrich replied. “We’re here for family business, actually. It appeared one of our family members had faced a very serious incident.”

“We are the honoured dragon clan,” Mr. Von Dietrich spoke. “We are strictly forbidden from revealing our true form to regular people whatever the reasons we have to face.”

“Dragon clan? So you can transform into a dragon?” Matilda asked.

“Dragon?” Yutaro remembered the time he saw Freya’s unknown form. He twitched. “Crap! Does this mean…”

Mr. von Dietrich’s reply was to withdraw his Zweihander and aimed it at Yutaro’s neck. “This brat saw my cute Freya’s identity, and he is not supposed to see it! How dare he… how dare he do THIS and THAT to my cute Freya while I wasn’t around!”

“Kaiser Erick, please calm down!” Reiher pleaded and strangled Mr. von Dietrich.

“We fiercely protect this secret for generations from the lineage of our ancestor Daniel the Great,” Mrs. Von Dietrich spoke. “The law of Von Dietrich states that anyone from this family who exposes his or her true identity to the society will be sentenced to death. I am sure Miss Galatea has explained it to all of you.”

“It’s fortunate that the Knights of Yellow Rose had agreed to keep this matter secret from the public,” Galatea spoke. “Things would have turned to worse if the people get their hands on this incident.”

“I object! Freya did that to save Yutaro’s life! What would you do if you faced the same situation as her?” Poseidon snarled.

“Then Yutaro will have to be executed as well,” Mrs. Von Dietrich said. “The secret of the dragon clan cannot and shall not be revealed to the world whatever the consequences this family have to face.”

“No way…” Poseidon chided.

“I hate to agree, but this is the law we have to abide,” Mr. Von Dietrich continued and again turned to the frightened Yutaro. “But not before I slay the brat into pieces!” he roared and tried killing the boy before Reiher strangled him.

Mrs. Von Dietrich later grinned. “But of course, we can spare his life if he agrees to become a member of this house,” she said.

“What does that suppose to mean?” Matilda said.

Mrs. Von Dietrich pointed to the ceiling. “Yutaro will have to marry Freya.”

The suggestion sent a very deep shock into everybody in the hall. Yutaro, especially, found himself shaking uncontrollably due to the suggestion. “No freaking way!”

“Married? My cute Freya marries that useless piece of flesh?” Mr. Von Dietrich growled and plunged the Zweihander into the floor. “He must step over my dead body first! Nobody is allowed to marry my cute Freya until I say he can!”

“But dear, he already knew her identity,” Mrs. Von Dietrich spoke. “If he doesn’t want to die, then he has to become her groom.”

“Never! I’ll only say yes when I SAY yes!” Mr. Von Dietrich replied.

“Papa!”

Everybody turned to Freya. “If you refuse to bless our relationship,” she said and suddenly fell onto her back. “Then just execute me!”

“But Freya, you can’t live with that maggot!” Mr. Von Dietrich replied.

“This is my life! I’m the one who decides it! Not anyone! Not even Papa!” Freya replied.

“Oneechan is right!” along came Aura’s voice as she, too, lay next to Freya. “If she has to die, then let me die with her!”

Mrs. Von Dietrich sighed. “Look at that. Father and his twin daughters. Always refuse to accept each other’s difference,” she said.

Poseidon nodded. “They’re twins, after all.”

“Freya…” Yutaro murmured.

Mr. Von Dietrich trembled. “If that bastard wants to marry my cute Freya,” he murmured and pulled out the Zweihander, “then he must prepare to accept his death! My brethrens!”

The von Dietrich knights transformed into dragons. “ROAR!!!!”

Yutaro fled the people but was stopped in the middle of the way by a dagger tossed by Reiher. He turned to the Afro knight, and was horrified as the person sported a smile that was as calm as it was threatening. “I might not know your affair with Meister Freya, but you must accept the suggestion or face the consequences,” he spoke.

Matilda and female Belkan knights sighed. “Reiher-san…”

“I don’t have time to answer the question!” Yutaro took a detour but was ambushed by an oversized salt-water crocodile when he approached the door. “A crocodile!!!????”

“THANK YOU FOR THE MEAL!!!!” Draco Tsukihiro cheered and pounced at Yutaro, but its tackle missed when the boy dodged. “Shit. When I thought I could have my free meal right now…”

“How can a crocodile become a dragon clan member?!” Yutaro asked.

“Should I tell you the answer?” Draco Tsukihiro asked in sly voice and again pounced at Yutaro. “Do not run away! I will eat you piece by piece!”

Poseidon kicked Draco Tsukihiro to the wall with a roundhouse. “A beast’s worthy opponent is a beast,” the white tiger spoke and opened a kung-fu stance. “Yutaro, go. I’ll cover you.”

“I owe you one, Poseidon-san!”

Yutaro left Poseidon with the pissed Draco Tsukihiro and faced Mr. Von Dietrich. “Can we have a peaceful discussion?” he asked, and was forced to dodge the Zweihander when the Kaiser refused. “I thought this is a democratic government!!”

“Hold it right there.”

The mayhem stopped. Mr. Von Dietrich and his followers looked to the front and saw Frieda standing at the entrance door. “May I know what is going on, everybody?” she asked and corrected her eyeglasses.

“Okaasan!” Freya and Aura gasped.

“Miss Frieda, help!” Yutaro left the chaos and hurled towards Frieda. “You have to help me! These people are going to kill me!”

“I heard you’re going to marry Freya,” Frieda said. “Well, why hadn’t you told me of your feeling towards her before?”

“Why in a sudden you ask me that?!” Yutaro wailed and flailed his arms.

“Who the hell are you, bitch?!” one of the dragon-men snarled.

The Gunslinger Knight turned to the people. “I’m the Gemini Sisters’ custodian,” Frieda replied and withdrew Beowulf. “Frieda Johansen. I’m also their surrogate mother. Pleased to meet you.”

“Then we’ll have to kill you as well!” The dragon-men charged at the Gunslinger Knights when bullets suddenly knocked their swords off their hands. “What the hell is that?”

“Touch Miss Frieda and die,” along came Takeru’s voice as he appeared behind Frieda (clinging onto his back was a timid-looking Yumemi). He withdrew Schwarz Todd, loaded the dual handguns and opened a Gun Kata stance. “So, shall we dance?”

“I thought the Belkan Knights and the von Dietrich clan are at peace!” Matilda spoke as the von Dietrich knights and the Belkan knights fought each other.

“This has nothing to do with peace!” Mr. von Dietrich howled and swung the Zweihander at Yutaro’s head -- again, it missed. “This is family business!”

Mrs. Von Dietrich sighed. “Men…” She left her sitting spot and approached Frieda. “Ms. Johansen,” she said and bowed to her. “We must thank you for taking care of our twin daughters along our absence. We owe you a lot for your deeds.”

“It doesn’t matter,” Frieda said with a smile. “I have long considered them as my beloved daughters.” She later took off the eyeglasses and bowed to Mrs. Von Dietrich. “Now, if you excuse me.”

Frieda left the smiling mother behind and jumped at Mr. Von Dietrich who was blindingly attacking Yutaro. “Aura! Freya! Take Yutaro out of here!” she shouted as she blocked the Kaiser’s Zweihander.

“Got it, Okaasan!” the Gemini Sisters replied and seized Yutaro’s hand. “Yutaro, follow us!”

Galatea and Sao decided to stay neutral throughout the frantic brawl (and let Takeru’s little sister and Keiko join them). “What is your next plan, Master?” Sao asked.

“What if we follow Yutaro and ask him more questions on… his feelings?” Galatea suggested. “Sao, provide escape route.”

“Yes, Master.”

Sao transformed into an Oxtongue Rifle and was caught by Galatea who, then, fired an energy beam onto the wall. She holstered the weapon over shoulder and sported a grin. “So, who wants to follow me?”

The escapees landed on the lakeside. Yutaro fell onto his butt as the Gemini Sisters let go off him. Freya and Aura landed on a piece of boulder and sat on it. They were still in their dragon-girl form, and Yutaro could not help asking himself if this was the reason their family objected their relationship.

“That was so close…” he gasped. “Thank god father isn’t here…”

The twin sisters suddenly blushed. “Father?”

Yutaro laughed. “No, no! I mean I was fortunate my father isn’t here, or he’d kill me,” he answered. “That reminds me. If that meeting can be thought as a reunion, then why aren’t you happy to see your parents?”

“Sou…” Freya threw their sight into the evening sky, as she returned to her normal form. Suddenly, and mysteriously, a Japanese classical song played in the background, and cherry blossom petals materialized in thin air. “We cherish our freedom, and we want to enjoy our life as much as we can. Papa has been strict at deciding our path of life, and he doesn’t believe in one’s freedom.”

“Freya…”

Aura took her twin sister’s hand. “This is the path we have agreed to take since we joined the School,” she spoke. “If Papa doesn’t agree with us, then we’ll fight for it. Even though our life is at stake.”

The sky suddenly trembled. Yutaro looked up and saw a giant wyvern soaring above them. “I get a bad feeling about this…”

“Papa!” the Gemini Sisters gasped.

Mr. Von Dietrich jumped off the wyvern and landed in front of Yutaro. “Finally found you, maggot…” he spoke and withdrew the Zweihander. “Took me a long time to outsmart the gunslinger knight, but I finally got away.”

“We thought Okaasan is unbeaten!” the Gemini Sisters protested.

By now, Frieda, Takeru, the Knights of Yellow Rose, Reiher, Galatea, Sao, Mrs. Von Dietrich and everybody else arrived. They had ended the brawl without losses on both sides, but found themselves too late to stop Mr. Von Dietrich’s execution.

“He’s one tough opponent, I must admit,” Frieda spoke.

“Dear! Can you ever stop for a while and spare the boy?” Mrs. Von Dietrich asked.

Mr. Von Dietrich seemed to ignore his wife’s advice and was equipping the Zweihander with cartridges. “I hope you have prepared your last will, maggot,” he spoke. “Do you have anything to say before I send you to the afterlife?”

“Can we… have a negotiation for a while?” Yutaro suggested.

“Stay still. I’m going to cut you into pieces…” Mr. Von Dietrich spoke, his eyes shooting blood.

“Dear!” Mrs. Von Dietrich shouted.

“Papa!” Aura cried out.

“Yutaro!” Freya screamed.

Yutaro was desperate. He needed to do something. He knew he was not at fault. He knew he had to make things clear.

And Mr. Von Dietrich had lifted the Zweihander high over his head.

There’s only one final option.

“Father-in-law!”

Yutaro knelt before the Kaiser and slammed the rock-hard ground with his bare palms. “Please give your daughter to me!”

Freya was startled. Aura gasped. Galatea batted an impressed eyebrow. Mrs. Von Dietrich smiled. Matilda clapped her hands. Keiko sighed in relief. Takeru nodded. Frieda chuckled. Poseidon tossed a victorious fist.

“If you want the secret to be safe, then let me become a part of your family!” Yutaro added and bowed to Mr. Von Dietrich. “So… so… SO PLEASE BLESS OUR MARRIAGE, FATHER-IN-LAW!”

“You… you…” Mr. Von Dietrich dropped the Zweihander, grabbed Yutaro’s collar and threw him into the lake. “JUST GO TO HELL AND DIE!!!!”

“I thought this is the best option!” Yutaro yelled as he fell into the lake.

“Yutaro!” Freya transformed into dragon-girl and jumped into the lake to save him.

Galatea wrote down something in the notepad. “Wakamoto Yutaro. Today, he declared he would accept Mrs. Von Dietrich’s offer and became a member of the clan. This automatically earns him the right to marry Freya and become her groom.”

She smiled. “This is relevant to my interest.”

This turns out be a quite interesting soap drama. and I can already imagine the real Yutaro's attempt to dry Freya's legs.

The hunt had begun.

The Riot Force 6 and the 21st Unit were exploring every inch of the capital city for clues of the Gale Whistler. The Phantom Squad and the 82nd Division also joined force, as well as the Linebackers. It was a race that would pit them against time and the unforgiving reality of the world.

“Did you find anything?”

Nanoha shook her head. “It’s still early. I can’t say anything about it.”

The Ace quartet continued their search around the boulevard. “Don’t you think it’s weird, Nanoha-chan?” Hayate asked as she picked up a piece of metal debris. “A Lost Logia belonged to a king, a boy said to be a Chronomancer, and a lost civilization serving as a planet’s protector? This is far more complicated than the Relics' case.”

“I’m more curious of this place,” Keroko said and looked around. “Did anyone of us realize this city had used to be a battlefield?”

“How can you tell?” Fate asked. “There has been no recorded battle on Earth for four years.”

The Aces continued searching. This time, they headed to the mausoleum, walking past people who paid them no attention. The chill began biting them; did the citizens deliberately ignore them?

“[Have you found any clues, Nanoha-san?]”

“We’re heading to the cemetery,” Nanoha responded to Yuuno’s radio call.

“[The cemetery? Hang on. We have latest information about the Gale Whistler’s girlfriend. I’ll let Armstrong-san explain.]”

“Girlfriend?”

“[This is Armstrong. The name of the girl is Yuu. She perished while protecting the Gale Whistler from his berserk sister. She was buried along with thousands of citizens who died in the Battles of Kiev.]”

“No wonder why there aren’t any visitors here,” Hayate spoke. “This place brings them painful memories.”

“[According to documents we recovered, the Gale Whistler had used his Chronograph power three times. The energy reading taken by our agents during the event showed it exceeded all expectations.]”

“Hold on! You can’t be this serious, Ojiichan. How can we be so sure he’s more powerful than anyone of us?”

“[Keroko, the boy is stronger than anybody else for one sole reason: his father was an Immortal. Added with his Chronograph circuit and his years of experience as a street combatant, he’s not to be taken lightly.]”

“Immortal… that doesn’t sound good, does it?”

“Where can we find him anyway, Ojiichan?”

“[We’ll search this city first. If there’s no trace of the Gale Whistler, then we’ll proceed to another location.]” The Aces did not answer the transmission. “[Ladies? What’s the matter?]”

“Someone’s visiting the grave. We’ll speak to you later.” Nanoha approached the lone person the four women saw, who was at the time putting a flower bouquet on the tombstone. “Excuse me.”

The person turned to Nanoha, revealing a pair of radiant sapphire eyes that had the sparks of acceptance. “Haii?”

Nanoha was startled. “You’re Japanese.”

The person nodded. “Haii.”

I assumed while writing this first part that everybody's available after StrikerS, unless they have other plans.

A familiar was never meant to be more powerful than the master. Because one, if the master were a cruel person that familiar might rebel, and actually win. Two, the familiar would probably need a lot more mana upkeep from the master, and if the master were actually the weaker one it would be extremely taxing. Well when trying to enforce civil order bombing schools, clinics, churches etc to get at a few guys inside is usually a poor tactic…

Nothing too impossible. Templars' abilities to disrupt Elements in the body can be severe pain. If they choose to use it, that is. Then again, Barrier Jackets and platings impede them from doing so in the first place.

Actually, I think Hayate's ability for friendship comes from her kind heart, which is good. It tones down a lot on the "magic damage" part.

It's only good from the stand point of her enemies which makes it rather bad for HER.

No, Sharazad doesn't cause drowning by saturating the air with water. What the saturation does is make it more difficult to breathe (by displacing oxygen with water molecules) and raising the humidity of the area until it's stuffy, which cause the victims to suffocate and faint ("sleep" ). Of course, she always does this only in confined spaces, such as in offices and laboratories, which is why it's impossible to do it outdoors.

This should be more reasonable, no?

Not really the amount of water vapor that be suspended in a gas mixture is dependent pretty much entire on temperature. If you reach that saturation point any further water vapor will begin to condense as a liquid, and at temperatures humans can survive at that this threshold is FAR to low to allow for "drowning in air" This is just an intrinsic property of water and physics once that saturation point is reached further water added to the air will mix will simply condense out.


Another problem is that water vapor is LIGHTER then air (which includes a number of heavier molecules) and so will in the lack of outside forces simply tend to float away and up into the sky, this is why we get clouds and rain the water rises it cools down, the saturation point drops and it falls out of the air as rain.

Being indoors would have little to do with anything it might slightly effect the temperatures variable (maybe significantly if climate control is in use), but that could HURT the process inside of an air conditioned building for instance the cooler temperature would reduce the condensation point allowing less water to be in the air mix. They're wouldn't be any kind of "Containment effect" on the vapor either before you argue that first off 99% of buildings are poorly sealed at best obviously since we kind of need some air flow to survive inside them so the vapor still has plenty of places to go and even in a sealed room the water would still begin condescending out and jsut forming puddles now over the course of some long period of you might still be able to drown someone in a sealed room this way, but that would occur by said room eventually filling with standing water and doing the job the old fashion way, not by choking them with water vapor.
