And it's hard to run expedition while most of the time when I play at least 3 fleets are occupied. And time is running out as well..

Here's the thing. Why I said hotels are quite useless(at least for me), is the fact that the boss has 270 armor and yasen damage cap is 300. If you're not gonna use Hayasui's drums, don't expect your ships to finish her off even if she has 20+ hp left before yasen unless you get some lucky rolls, which again, is reliant on RNG. I advocate for more resource efficiency for retries rather than trying to rely on your fleet unless you use Hayasui's drums.

This doesn't matter at all since they won't participate in night battle anyway...

The usefulness of the Yamato-class is a) higher probability to get rid of the escorts and b) higher survivability in the pre-boss nodes.

edit: alternative im using akizuki instead of kasumi really, but when i ran w/ kasumi coz i forgot about akizuki, it was probably the closest thing to kill boss

Shouldn't be better to use dive bomber over torpedo bomber, especially for the boss support fleet ?

edit: alternative im using akizuki instead of kasumi really, but when i ran w/ kasumi coz i forgot about akizuki, it was probably the closest thing to kill boss

*sigh* Give me a break with all that worrywart stuff. I took on E7 final dance with 46k fuel. Regarding fleet loadout, you are giving up on air superiority?

Not for E7.

i actually use akizuki normally although sometimes since i go out so i put expe, i sometimes mix up kasumi and her for some reason, but originally yea i use akizuki..
well i guess reso aint really my issue, probably time i guess

Anti-air cut-ins are irrelevant for air superiority.

What you have here is very similar to how I cleared E7H; I'm afraid I have not much to say other than keep trying.
Hayasui, being in the second fleet, doesn't participate in aerial combat. Taihou would make a better use out of the better planes.

i pretty much copied what you have same w/ the LBAs to some extent

Ahaha, welp, my fuel finally bottomed out during the farming phase at E7H. So yeah, CTF is enough to A-Rank the boss node, but so far no Harukaze.

Gonna spend the next day recouping fuel, then continuing my farming for Harekaze. Hey, at least she drops on rank A.

I'm going with a surface force, not willing to deal with double CVH, although the sub node B can be pretty annoying at times.

Right, my apologies. Momentarily blanked out.

Still, day damage cap is 150 and bringing the hotels doesn't make so much of a difference since you could bring Nagato class and still hit day cap, saving tons of resources.

Unless of cos, your BBs get chuuha'd often then I guess it's worth the gamble I guess.

Sigh... Still feel kinda suck since last page..... Spent most of the time to train LBA since. Made another run to the boss, clear all but have boss on 300 hp again.

At least I am probably doing something right...

Anyway DD with double guns and a T2 (tank) landing craft do deal some good damage on boss. So use it if you can't find any better

Do you have WG42s to spare? How about try changing Abukuma for Ooyodo with a WG42 (Or 2, if you are willing to sacrifice DA or have 2 or more WG42s...).

Its my opinion, but WG42 helps. (A niconico user that I usually watch almost killed the boss during his last underway replenishment run with a CL equipped with 2 guns and 1 WG42 (He changed to easy after that.).)

Only have 3 WG42 so I gave them to the 2 CA. Did have Ooyodo earlier with 2 WG42, but yeah I guess I'm just trying to create as many boss killers in escot fleet as I can right now

Question: if you have stuck a fair bit in E7 before clearing it, do you retrain your LBA everytime you fail to kill boss?

Because the process seemed to be so random. Like I will have a full Rank 7 LBA and barely could deal any damage, got devastated, before then the non-rank hit for several hundreds


Also, for normal node support, do you have to spark all ships? Like it used to be only 2 first ships, then only flag ship, and now I heard we have to spark all...

You have 100k+ resources... If you aren't going to finish the event, then why did you stockpiled that much? It's not guaranteed that Iowa will be in LSC in the future. You can finish this event in easy, it's not over yet.

It never used to be two ships. Map support has always been sparkle as many as possible, preferably all six, to increase the likelihood of it showing up. People probably just confused it with boss support for which sparkling the flagship only is sufficient.
