(L) Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls [Anticipation]

At the Wonderful M@gic event in Yokohama yesterday, an anime for Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls was announced. Will air in 2015 and have the same staff as the original series and movie (A-1 Pictures)

Adding in some background info - Cinderella Girls is a social game spin-off from the original Idolm@ster on Mobage. As custom with social games, there are 100+ idols to collect, although some of the more prominent ones are voiced. It's in the same universe as Idolm@ster, so you see the original characters as well. I believe they also made an appearance in the recent Idolm@ster movie, so it's not like this was without any precedent.

Well, that was certainly a surprise. Instead of an IM@S S2, we're getting Cinderella Girls instead? Could be nice I suppose... just as long as I get my fill of Ranko-sama

ARRRRRRRRRGH! Now I'm going to spend the rest of the year hoping that my favorite girls are going to get a decent amount of screen time!

Speaking of which, I wonder how they'll decide which girls to use/focus on/whatever? Will it be a rotating cast or will there be a "main core" with a bunch of supporting characters? My guess is that they'll end up using the more popular girls as the "main" characters and less popular girls will be more one-shot/side characters.

Then again, Cinderella Girls only has over 180 idols to choose from. I'm sure they'll have an easy time deciding who to use and how.

Am I right in assuming that this says the series will air beginning in January? Did it say it was a full series or just some sort of Puchimas situation?

EDIT: I'm sure the Cinderella Master girls will be the main focus, but I hope that the more interesting (and attractive) remaining idols get their fair share of time as well.

This is going to be a mess too many girls to cover. A bit unfortunate that not the same director handiling the series. I don't see how it is going to work other than Puchimas version.

Some girls I like Takumi, Natsuki, Shiomi, Miyo Harada don't have voice actresses.

If what I assume is correct then they are going to focus mostly on the girls that have Cinderella Master releases. Then again, Nina was in the PV (which is just "Onegai Cinderella" with a little added) and she doesn't have a Master release.

Now, who do I want? Rin is pretty much guaranteed to be in, so that leaves... well, first and foremost, Rika and Mika, Anzu and Kirari as well, and of course, Ranko Who else, who else? How about Hina and Momoka for the cute factor?

They're most likely only gonna focus on the 9 girls shown at 0:38.

Oh, I forgot to add Kaede (duh) and Minami for the adult charm in my last post. Hmmm, that's still a lesser number of girls than the original crew. Any ideas?

Still a much lesser number than the original crew, it doesn't make sense with so many potential candidates.

I think I already said I like most of the Cinderella Master girls and it's 99.9% guaranteed that they'll all show up. Glad to see that at least a few others will also show up (like Nina).

I would love to see the New Wave trio (Izumi Ohishi, Sakura Muramatsu and Ako Tsuchiya) just to see if they have some sort of feud with the confirmed trio (Rin, Nao and Karen). Would also like to see some of the foreign girls for misunderstanding lulz and eye candy cause why not?

Other girls like Akiha Ikebukuro (gadget girl) and Ayame Hamaguchi (ninja girl) would be welcome as well.
