What a great chapter. I respect Deku for saying that its fine even if its not the same school. He has fis resolved firm and strengthen from his past experience. He will become a hero. His mom is also someone who I can respect and love. She is truly a model mom. But most of all. Its all might. That guy. He looks so cool even while his head was bow down and is touching the cold floor tile. he looks so cool even if his muscle form was blown out like a balloon. he looks so cool even if his posture is not cool. He is really a hero.

truly remarkable chapter.

Wow, that passer-by was an asshole. Who calls random people "creepy" like that? Especially in their society where appearance is so diverse.

And for being skeletal, too. So, best case, you're dissing someone's quirk that he didn't chose and worst case, you're kicking someone who's down with a disorder of some kind (which is what happened here).

I wonder if those other hero schools will ever be named, and if there will be school competitions later on. I think the fact that there were other hero schools was mentioned before, but none by name, since all the focus was on All Might's alma mater, UA.

Heartfelt promise from All Might, though poor Deku's mom still doesn't know everything that's going on. Even if Deku went somewhere else, he would probably still be targeted (even if AFO hasn't told Shigaraki about OFA being passed down to him yet).

Looking forward to whatever comes next, I hope not a time skip, I'm curious to see what their dorm life might be. Also I kind of wish for more slice of life chapters, after all the action chapters, and their training keep getting interrupted.

i liked the convincing even if a really good argument for dekus favor wasnt used :/

lets see if we will get a timeskip or some training chapters, i really want to see the latter, i think i belong to the minory but i really like training arcs

Yes, very nice chapter. So Deku was fine with going to another school, after all... which shows how strong his conviction is. At least his mother finally consented to letting him stay in UA at the end, though. Now let's just hope that, for her sake, he doesn't completely cripple himself in the future!

Also, I loved that last spread. My favorite panel was definitely Mineta ogling that one lady's ass, lol.

Has the manga ever depicted/stated anything about Izuku's father?

I recall one of the earlier chapters (or author's notes) saying his father could breath fire, but I can't recall them ever showing or mentioning the father in any way. (Or is this one of those "mentioned but never seen" characters?)

Nope. He never show himself, only mentioned in one of the very beginning chapter.

Though if you check previous chapter, there are two family photos in Midoriya's household. One with complete family, and one with only Deku and his mom. Which doesn't really give much lead. I'm sure he will be addressed in due time.

I am welcome the twist that his father is another super villain has his own evil organization.

Personally i believe if anyone has a family member who's a villain that would be Endeavor (and Todoroki), i still believe that Dabi is one of Endeavor sons who resent him.

think about how impossible this would need to be?

but i guess it doesnt fit time-wise (or nana had a quirk that made her age a lot slower than other humans, but i doubt that too)...

and i still see a possibility, what if, if nana had a son and a daughter?
the son became shigarakis father while the daughter became izukus mom,
that would mean shigaraki and deku are cousins
