This thread is for those of you with questions about the Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei anime. There are many questions that don't need a whole thread to discuss them. A simple practical answer straight from the anime or manga without any speculation can solve these connundrums. If someone has such a question about Mahouka which can be solved by answering with facts from an official source, then please ask that question here.

Questions related to epsode 7:
-The series made clear that Tatsuya can read activation sequence of a spell, which is a feat according to many characters. However, I don't recall him rewriting/deleting a sequence while the user is casting it before this episode.

So my question is: what does he need to do to actually disrupt the spell activation? Does he just need to gaze without any actual interaction? He certainly remained motionless when Blanche leader casted his spell.

-Antinite is implied to be an active cast jamming device/component. I assume that it isn't a permanent cast jamming field otherwise they wouldn't need terrorist to actively use their rings here and there.
So my question about antinite:
*How long antinite cast jamming effect last? Is it dependant of the stone size or quality?
*Is antinite cast jamming ability finite or infinite? As in: once the antinite use its cast jamming effect, does it become inert forever, or is it possible to simply store it and use it again afterwards?

Spoiler for Tasuya & Blocking Magic:

Tatsuya was a 'Born-Specialized Magician'. They tend to be heavily, heavily specialized but able to do some extraordinary things others cannot. They can often use their abilities without a CAD, and if their ability is something reproducable with magic, can do that specific effect better than a 'general' magician. Tatsuya using his powers to break an activation sequence doesn't need a CAD. Teeechnically there are a few things that make it /better/ with a CAD though.

The books don't go into detail in how much Antinite is required. Antinite is re-usable. How it works is you pump psions into it and the antinite creates lots of meaningless psion waves in the area that make it very difficult to cast magic. I'm going to use a metaphor: think of it as a tuning fork that creates dissonant sound, the tuning fork is reusable. This lets even very weak magicians block powerful magic. As for how long, again they don't go into detail, but from the method it says they use, it should last as long as the person can pump psions into the antinite, so depends on the strength of the user.

Clarifying the bolded part since that wasn't directly answered.

Spoiler:

Remember how at the end of Episode 1, everything turned blue and the Activation Sequence seemed to be going slower visually? That's the passive part of an ability he has. Said ability is what lets him read Activation Sequences.

That ability allows him to "see" the Activation Sequence without actually looking at the device physically. So he's immune to any visual misdirection that's intended to hide spellcasting, and can pretend to be mislead.

In EP 19 we see Tatsuya Talking about the disciplinary comitee, and see all members sitting there, bar Tatsuya.
Was he resigned from his Job when the new chairman took over or is he still one of their members?

In the same scene we see someone sitting at the bottom left, who looks like Leon, that person however has a bloom on their jacket, while we clearly saw Leon without one a few minutes later.

Is this Leon and the bloom was just not supposed to be there or is it someone else?

Tatsuya is still on the disciplinary committee it's just that during that scene he was trying to remember which person Suzune was talking about so he obviously wouldn't count him self.

As for the second question I think you mean Leo and no he is not on the disciplinary committee.

I'm really enjoying this anime and am wondering if it's doing well enough in Japan to get a second season.
