I notice a few changes here and there, notably Mu now has a Newtype flash when he senses Rau the first time.
And the next episode preview is completely different from the original... Seems to be showing off some of the newly reanimated scenes.

And with that, Helmsman Newman would never again speak that much dialog in an episode of Gundam T_T...
Very impressed with the re-colorization, smoothness and crispness...You can clearly tell it's been revamped...Now if they could do something about Sai's Flaming Bankai Jacket we'd really be talking... Yeah they add the NT-Flash, that's about it, but the more I see the more I like...Pi$$ed no ep preview though, love that music...

And the smoothness is more or less the same, except for the new animation.

^Mon frère, I have the episode open on my CPU for comparison (Wanted to check on that Mwu "flash")...It doesn't look as good as this, there is a digital overlay in the revamped episodes that isn't the same...It's like one has almost a peel-able recolored coating compared to the other...Now in comparison to the fansubs, yeah it's no comparison...But definitely in color and arguably in smoothness I see a difference...DVD version looks good, but this appears to be about 15-20% better IMO (And that's taking into account this is just the 480p version of what will be a Blueray rendition, so it'll look even more digitally remastered in the end)...

Looks like they also might have refilmed it too. The camera work seems a bit different somehow. Quote:

It's been a while so I don't remember for sure but I agree with brightman, it at least feels like some of the camera moves have changed. |

I just watched that episode again and I can barely tell the difference between it and the DVDs I have.
Anyways, seeing Rusty get headshotted by a guy blind firing from around a corner never gets old. Seed may have had its faults, but it has some of the best deaths in Gundam.

Umm...what's with the purple background? Does it appear during the entire scene of Strike punching the Ginn? If it's so, I don't like it. Looks like a scene from a video clip . The original scene looks more dramatic.
Also, I'm still pissed that the image is cropped. If they still do this with the BD version, I'm gonna keep my DVD, thank you.
