did they kinda omit some details?
Spoiler for spoiler?:
I remember liking that particular line since it made the whole "Avdol returns-thingy" not feeling cheap at all or maybe I just got the timeline wrong...since it's been years since I read stardust crusader

I can't tell if this is a good twist or not. The whole drama that Avdol was dead just happened because Polnareff never checked his pulse and was too naive. It kinda feels like a middle finger to the audience too ala Kubo.
Nevertheless, the episode was a lot more entertaining than last week.

Well that was a surprise. Of course now my issue with how Avdol's 'death' seemed way too quick and lacking impact. When Jojo kills an ally they usually make a big deal out of it. Guess they got that surprise across because of how long Avdol was gone.
Good timing on that rescue though.

This episode had a couple anime original scenes. I liked the one showing Polnareff killing his sister. Made it look like he had learned his lesson and matured this time. It was the opposite in the manga: after Cameo destroyed his sister, he cursed him saying that even though she was a copy, she was still his sister.

I'm going to lean to some kind of brain damage at work here . Seems like out of nowhere he joined the odd humor that this arc for Jojo has been running with. Kind of sacrifice Avdol's personality to get him in on the toilet humor.

Well, anyway that was pretty funny near the end there. GG Judgement. He never stood a chance against bromance.

Another case of the punishment through human wastes but, somehow, to me, this case doesn't strike me as offensive as other cases, probably because it was executed as a form of casual male bonds. Needless to say, the episodes themselves are probably influenced by the Monkey's Paw and Pet Sematary. |

Despite what seems like the most controversial fight in Part 3, I rather enjoyed these episodes. Luckily the emotional moments happened with Polnereff, because he's the only character where it would work. Felt sorry that he was the only one out of the loop, but I still laughed hard.
Also this show's Engrish. |

That's a thing I've noticed about Polnareff, how he's the character that goes through the most emotion so far. I've seen the sentiment expressed that he's pretty much the main character, and I can see why that would be the case, at least at this point in the story.
