But it's a moot point since what's done is done, so I'll just settle for cringing whenever Damian opens his mouth. |

Kouichi Yamadera as Batman Wataru Takagi as Joker Ai Kakuma as Catwoman Rie Kugimiya as Harley Quinn That's a lot of big names, and the casting looks pretty on point! |

Soooo, after completely forgetting about the trailer of this movie that I had watched way back when, I watched this just now. Everything is chaotic, to different measure:
- Animation. Sometimes perfect, oftentimes too edgy, and for a certain portion of the movie, downright bad. - Plot. It's like the script writer wanted to figure out what my next sarcastic comment would be and then do just that. Overkill, probably with the intention to be "so bad that it's kinda good", but I lost my shit way too early for that. - Characters. Batman is the worst one of them all, with Joker coming as a close second. Grodd's intelligence was downplayed, Penguin and Poison Ivy were as good as nonexistent. Also Alfred was like the Jeremy Irons Alfred - too smug for a butler. Best character imo: Catwoman, in both animation and personality. - Soundtrack: mostly good, made to fit the mood. Final rating: 3.6/10. Would seriously consider it before watching again. |
